【教学目标】
(1)能够听、说、读、写单词:show, around, classroom, office, plan, fun, lab。
(2)学习用英语介绍学校里的场所和用途。
(3)能够听、说、运用句型:Welcome to … This is ... / —What’s that —It’s a ...
(4)能够用正确的语音、语调朗读课文中的对话。能运用所学知识与他人问候交流,进行英语日常交际。
【教学重难点】
重点:能够听、说、读、写单词:show, around, classroom, office, plan, fun, lab
难点:掌握并且运用一些介绍自己学校的一些教学设施的重点句子。
句型:Welcome to … This is ... / —What’s that —It’s a ...
【教学方法】
情景导入法、活动探究法。
【教学过程】
新课导入:
Step 1: Ask and answer!
What is that in the first picture
Teachers plan their lessons in .
We have lessons in , and we can see it in picture .
新课讲授:
Step 1 New Words and expression.
(1) classroom
We have lessons in classroom.
(2) library
They are reading in the library.
(3) office
They are working in the office.
(4) lab
It is a lab.
(5) This is an office. Our teachers plan their lessons here.
(6) That is the playground. We play sports and have fun there.
(7) show v. 展示,出示;给……看。
around 作介词,“在……四周;环绕……”。
show sb. around “带某人参观”。
Let me show you around. 让我带领你参观。
通过单词游戏,引出要学习的新知,引起学生的兴趣,然后利用学生的迁移能力,引导学生自读单词,培养学生的思维能力。
Step 2 课文内容学习
(呈现教课书图片。)听录音,学习第一部分内容。
文本内容:
Jack is from Canada. He is a visiting student in Li Ming’s school.
Hello, Jack. Welcome to our school.
Let me show you around.
This is our classroom. We have lessons here.
This is an office. Our teachers plan their lessons here.
That is the playground. We play sports and have fun there.
That is the library. We get books there.
What’s that?
It's a lab. We have our science classes there.
通过听录音,跟读录音,分角色朗读,集中学生注意力,提高听读的效果,巩固所学的知识。
Language points:
1) a visiting student中的visiting 意为“访问的,参观的”,作定语。
visiting是形容词,可以位于名词之前作定语。
拓展:visiting的动词形式是visit。意为“访问、探望、参观”,后面可直接加地点名词。e.g. He is visiting Beijing now. 他正在参观北京。
2) Welcome to ...是一句常用的交际用语,意为“欢迎来到……”。welcome意为“欢迎(光临)”,表示一种亲切的招呼。
在情景交际题中考查交际用语。“欢迎来某地”要用“Welcome to+地点名词”,也可以用“You are welcome to+地点名词”,只是此时welcome用作形容词。
Let me show you around. 让我带领你参观。
show v. 展示,出示;给……看。
around 作介词,“在……四周;环绕……”。
show ab. around “带某人参观”。
拓展:let sb. do sth.意为“让某人做某事”,let为使役动词,常用在祈使句中,表示建议。考查let后加动词原形,人称代词用宾格。
e.g. Let me help you. 让我帮你。
4) have lessons意为“上课”。
也可以说have a lesson,lesson前也可以加上某个学科表示“上……课”。lessons也可以换成classes。
e.g. I have an English class today.
今天我有一节英语课。
We have lessons from Monday to Friday.
=We have classes from Monday to Friday.
我们从周一到周五上课。
5) play sports意为“进行体育运动”。
6) have fun 意为“过得愉快,玩得高兴”。
have fun与have a good time, enjoy oneself同义。have fun后面跟动词的 ing 形式。
e.g. I have fun playing football. 我享受踢足球的乐趣。
Step 3 Let’s Do It!
1. Listen to the statements and number the pictures.
2. Fill in the blanks with the phrases in the box.
3. Fill in the blanks and help Jack find his way around the school.
4. Draw a place in your school. Then write some sentences about it.
Group work: Write some sentences about your school.
根据课件展示的图片内容,运用所学短语写出句子。
