Topic Unit1 Where did you go on vacation Section A1a-2d
Analysis of the Teaching Material 本节课是一节听说课。首先1a通过图文将学生带入刚刚过去的暑假,回忆在暑假期间做过的事情,在这一语境中,引人相关短语以及目标语言。1b-1c围绕Tina, Xiang Hua, Sally, Bob,and Tom展开对话描述暑假做过的事情。 2a-2c围绕 Grace ,Kevin和Julie展开对话。2d有关黄果树瀑布的描述继续对话,找出其中的不定代词,并观察形容词如何对它们修饰;对单元重点语言结构的总结和训练。因为这是本单元第一课时,对其基础地位和铺垫作用应予以高度重视,课堂任务应该追求语言学习的实践和应用能力的提升。
Analysis of the Students 学生进入八年级后,有了一定的英语基础和语言学习能力,语言感知能力比较强,这是英语学习的优势。一方面学生学习英语的积极性比较高;另一方面,进入了八年级,学生在学习上出现了分化现象,有的学生英语语言基础薄弱,语言拓展的运用能力比较差,而且学习过程缺乏耐性。所以作为老师要鼓励学生积极学习,激发学生的学习兴趣,同时辅以灵活多样的教学设计和丰富的活动设计,鼓励学生深入语言实践,渗透学法指导并引导学生逐步养成良好的学习习惯。
Analysis of Teaching Objectives Language ability 通过情境体验,能够掌握目标词汇,运用目标语言和一般过去时进行信息交流。通过学习对话及练习能够初步感知不定代词的用法。
Learningability 能听懂关于过去的假期和节日的对话。能够读懂并了解他人假期生活的情况及感受。
Thinking quality 通过流畅表达假日、周末的活动,逐步提高英语思维的逻辑性。
Cultural awareness 通过对旅游经历的互相询问和对事物的喜好及厌恶的表达,培养和提高同学们积极参与假期及周末实践活动的兴趣。并能树立积极的生活态度,有计划的度假的意识
Teaching Points 1.重点:(1)用所学的功能语言交流假期去了哪里旅行。(2)掌握本课时出现的新词汇。2.难点:(1)复合不定代词someone,anyone,something,anything等词的用法。(2)yourself,myself等反身代词的用法。

Step1Lead-in T shows some pictures,each picture shows something a person did in the past,leads students to focus attention on the picture T:Where did you go on vacation S:I went to…” 观看图片,根据所给图片猜测活动。 利用图片,引入本课主题—谈论假期做了些什么事情,引导学生谈论,在讨论的过程中自然的感知目标语言,激发学生学习兴趣,活跃课堂气氛。
Step2Pre-listening New wordsShow some pictures on the big screen.Let students discuss.Q:What can you see Each picture shows what a person did on summer vacation....Work on 1aNow,please match each phrase with one of the pictures next to the name of the activity,point to the sample answer.Check the answers. 学生看图片,大概猜测假期活动。stayed at home,…学生完成书本1a习题:匹配图片中人物的活动。 通过看图片,展现假期活动,为下一步匹配活动做准备。通过对问答的匹配活动,进一步巩固本节课的核心词汇短语,使学生在听前熟悉听力内容。
Step3While-listening 1.T leads students to pay attention to the activities.2.T plays the record 1b and ask students to listen and write numbers of the names in theright box in the picture。 3.T asks students to practice the conversations in 1b with the partner. 4.T teaches students how to ask questions about one‘s vacation. Using words such as ”Where,What, Who,How and Did” 5.T says,now work with a partner,Here is an example for in 1c.6.T plays the record 2a, and ask students to catch the key words while listening. then leads students to complete the form7.Listen again and leads students to finish 2b-practice.8.Ask students to listen again,and try to repeat conversations. 看图片,了解活动。听录音,抓取关键词,将人物和图片进行匹配.根据匹配进行问答练习。跟着老师总结有关假期活动的问句。 运用how,what,who等特殊疑问句,询问假期活动。听录音并完成表格。再听一遍,完成2b的练习。再听一遍,试着复述对话。 通过提取关键信息,信息匹配,总结句型结构,进行口语输出,巩固目标语言。进一步掌握特殊疑问句的使用。通过听录音完成表格的活动,培养学生听中提取关键信息的能力。完成书本听力后,对听力文本进行了挖空改编,空格内容是本课重要词汇。
Step 4Post-listening Group work(2c)1.The teacher explains the instructions to the students.2.Work in groups to role-play the conversation.Students can talk about the activities from the chart in 2b or other activities.The teacher can move around and give help if the students need.3.Ask some groups to show their conversations in class. 学生根据对话内容进行角色扮演。大胆进行口语输出 通过表演对话,让学生运用和掌握本课的重点单词与句型,提高学生课堂的互动性,同时培养小组合作能力。
Step 5Post-listening Role-play(2d)1.Ask the students to skim the conversation in 2d and answer the following questions.2.Get the students to read the conversation carefully and sum up some points:3.Ask two of the students to act out the dialogue. 学生根据问题进行回答。自由结合对话。 让学生带着问题阅读对话能够帮助学生更好地理解对话内容。模仿朗读,并以表演的形式,让学生将所学内容进行输出。学练结合的形式进行反复训练,加强理解记忆,达到灵活运用所学知识的目的。
Step 6Post-listening Language Points ExplanationT explains knowledge points. 将知识点做好笔记。 将本节课重点汇总系统的进行讲解和分析,结合典例,帮助学生形成语言体系。
