教材分析与学情分析:
本部分内容是在单元话题“神秘事件”下进行疑似外星人事件的讨论。对情态动词(must、could/might、can’t)表示猜测的功能进一步的巩固、拓展与提升。
马剑的学生基础较弱,我的重点放在课内听力文本解读的落实,课外的拓展对于他们来说太难,课堂上时间不够。
听力文本解读:
活动1a是看图说话,让学生使用方框内的词汇,运用现在进行时对图片进行描述。即:sb is doing sth.这是为下文的活动做好词汇和句型的铺垫,同时也是让学生对单元目标语言的使用提供更丰富的素材。
1b-1c活动的听力内容主要是围绕外星人事件,进一步巩固情态动词表示推测的用法。运用句型:sb could/ must/… be…
1d是听力1b和1c的延续,让学生根据听到的信息以角色扮演的形式进行语言运用。本活动旨在培养学生从听力材料中提取单元目标语言和重要信息的能力。我帮助学生提取了单元目标语言,给学生搭好支架,降低难度。

Can you guess what sports we play together 复习could、might、must、can’t等进行推测,同时也是活跃气氛,拉近与学生距离。 引导学生使用多种不同推测的表达方式。 Could I … No, you can’t.
Step 2: Lead-in T: wow, you are good at solving the mysteries. Here are some pictures, can you help to solve the mysteries Picture a: What’s it Picture b: What’s it / Who is the man What is he doing / How could he feel / … Picture c: How could he feel / Why could he run / Where could he go T: Can you think of any more question about the picture 呈现三幅主图,进行推测。 引导学生针对图片进行提问。有了疑问会有更多的推测,who/ how/ why/where/what等。
Step 3: 1a T: What could be happening in the pictures Use the words in the box to write a sentence about each picture. Picture a: A UFO is landing./… Picture b: An alien is running after a man./… Picture c: A man is running and looking back./… T: If these three pictures come from the same story, which picture comes first Why T-S make an example. T: What could be the ending Pair work: A: I think picture a/b/c comes first, because… B: I agree. And then picture… / I disagree. I think picture… must /can’t come… T: What’s your order of the three pictures And why What’s the ending of the story 每幅图的每句描述后都放了省略号,提示学生没有标准答案,合理的推测都可。 引导学生对故事的结局进行预测,并给出相应的推测理由。
Step 4: 1b T: Bob and Anna saw this happened on a street in the morning. So what really happened Let’s listen and number the picture 1-3, and write down the ending of the story. The order: 231 The ending: they are actors and they are making a movie. 创设情境。 听取听力文本关键信息。
Step5: 1c Do Bob and Anna agree with each other about what they saw Why T: Listen again and complete the chart. Q1: Why does Anna say she must be dreaming A:Because she saw an alien was running after the man. She thought it was impossible. Q2: How could she feel A: She could feel surprised/ scared/… Q3: What does the woman with a camera do A: She could be a reporter/ a director/ a photographer/… 拓展问题。对听力文本的进一步解读:说话者的语气以及语句的话外之意。
Step 6: 1d T: Role play. A newspaper reporter (Student C) interviews student B for Bob and student A for Anna. C: Excuse me. I am a reporter from Zhuji Daily. Can I ask you some questions A&B: Sure. C: It is said that a man is running down the street. Why A: He could be … B: No, he … C: Then there’s something in the sky. What’s that A: …… ...... C: Thank you for your time. 为学生的role play活动提供支架,降低难度。
Step 7: Further thinking We know the actors are making the movie, what do they want to tell to people through the movie Discuss it in a group of four. The most beautiful thing one can experience is mysteries(奥秘) . They are truly the basis of all arts and sciences . ---Albert Einstein 思考:人们拍这个电影的目的是什么? 发散学生思维,没有标准答案,享受推测的过程。 结合爱因斯坦的话,展示奥秘之美。
Step 8: Homework Level A: Read the conversation with emotions. Level B: It’s five minutes since the English teacher class began. But your English teacher, Miss Meng, hasn’t appeared. Make a guess at the reason with must, could, might or can’t. 分层作业。 A层:重朗读基础,体验说话者的情绪与表达。 B层:联系学生实际,更多的运用must, could, might,can’t来进行推测。

课后感想:
本节课实在是难,一开始不知道该怎么上,感觉没啥好上。后来反复看教参,看了一遍又一遍,实在看不出什么花。过一天自己慢慢想。又过一天自己再慢慢想,评完职称,感觉自己已经不想动了,又过了周末,缓过神了,才凑出来这样一个自己觉得还算完整的课。最大的感受是自己平时的课堂技能储备以及理论储备太少了。希望借此课,大家多给意见,非常感谢。
