Language points
回答句:“主语 + be +a/an + 职业名称”
1) What do/does sb. do

此句用来询问某人的职业(3种表达方式)
e.g. My father is a teacher.(划线提问)

2. the Smith family指“史密斯一家”。
“…… 一家人”在句中作主语时,谓语动词用复数。
e.g. The Browns/The Brown family are friendly
to everyone.布朗一家对每个人都友好。
也可以用the Smiths来表示,即“the+姓氏复数”表示“……一家人”,等于“the+姓氏单数+family”。
e.g. the Green family=the Greens 格林一家

3. He is talking on the police radio.
他正在用警用对讲机交谈。
talk on the police radio“用警用对讲机交谈”,其中on是介词,此处意为“通过”。类似的还有on the telephone。
e.g. Your voice sounds different on the phone.
在电话里,你的声音听起来不同。

詹妮正在玩电脑。
radio / re d / n. 无线电;收音机复数形式为radios。

4. 现在进行时态
含义:表示正在发生或进行的动作。
构成:be (am, is, are) + v.-ing
