1. What would you like, please 请问你想要些什么？
这是表示委婉地向别人征求意见的句子，可直接用“I’d like …”回答，其否定回答是“No, thanks.”。例如：
—What would you like, please ——请问你想要些什么
—I’d like a cake. ∕ No, thanks. ——我想要一个蛋糕。/不，谢谢。
would like表示“想要”，比want更婉转，但有些时候二者可互换。would like在口语中常说成“’d like”,可用于所有人称。例如：
I’d like (to drink) some water.=I would like (to drink) some water.
=I want (to drink) some water. 我想喝点水。

take down动词短语，意为“拿下，取下”。动词+副词结构，人称代词作宾语时应放在中间。名词作宾语时，放在中间后面都可以。

5. pass /pɑ s/ v. 传递；路过；经过。
e.g. Pass the book to me please. 请把书递给我。
常用短语pass sb. sth.＝pass sth. to sb.意思为“把某物递给某人”。pass around意为“分发；传送”，around为副词，遇代词时将代词放在中间，所以只说pass it around。
常见短语：pass on 转交；传给
pass by 通过 pass away 去世
