【教学目标】
(1)能够听、说、读、写单词:movie, theatre, price, hero, save, airport, hotel, magic, fight。
(2)学会运用所学单词和句型描述喜欢的电影。
(3)能够听、说、运用句型:
①So Kung Fu Dinosaur travels to Beijing.
②He gets to the airport, but where can he find Panpan
③So he takes the train to the zoo.
④At the zoo, Ku Fu Dinosaur fights the bad man.
⑤Watch the movie and find out!
(4)能够用正确的语音, 语调朗读课文中的对话, 能运用所学知识与他人问候交流,进行英语日常交际。

Step 1 New words and expression.
(1) movie
A movie called Kung Fu Panda.
(2) price
What’s the price of the movie ticket
(3) theatre
I like to go to the movie theatre on weekends.
(4) hotel
He rides a/his bike to the hotel.
(5) airport
He goes to the airport by bus.
(6) magic神奇的
This is a magic bike.
(7) hurt
(8) fight
He is fighting the thief.
通过单词游戏,引出要学习的新知,引起学生的兴趣,然后利用学生的迁移能力,引导学生自读单词,培养学生的思维能力。
Step 2 课文内容学习
课堂导入:
Do you like watching movies
What kind of movie is your favorite
(呈现教课书图片。)
听录音,学习第一部分内容。
文本内容:
Where: Fun Time Theatre, 28 Dream Street
When: 13: 00 15: 00 17: 00 19: 00 21: 00
Price: 25 yuan
This movie is about a hero dinosaur. He lives in Canada. His name is Kung Fu Dinosaur.
A bad man wants to hurt Panpan the Panda! Kung Fu Dinosaur wants to save Panpan. So Kung Fu Dinosaur travels to Beijing.
He gets to the airport, but where can he find Panpan He takes a taxi to Wangfujing Street. He looks for Panpan, but Panpan isn’t there. Then he goes to a hotel by bike. At the hotel, an old man gives him a magic map. On the map, he finds Panpan at a zoo. So he takes the train to the zoo.
At the zoo, Kung Fu Dinosaur fights the bad man. He gets help from the elephants, lions and tigers. But can he save Panpan Watch the movie and find out!
通过听录音,跟读录音,分角色朗读,集中学生注意力,提高听读的效果,巩固所学的知识。
Language points:
1. get to 到达
e.g. He gets to Beijing on Sunday.
在周日他到了北京。
get to与reach, arrive at/in同义。无地点状语时只能用arrive。
e.g. When does she arrive 她什么时候到?
2. look为不及物动词,常用介词连用,如:look at/like/up/after …等;单独使用引起注意,往往和进行时连用。
look for 意为“寻找”,强调动作
find 意为“找到”,强调结果
find out 意为“找出”“发现”,(事实真相等)
3. Let’s go to the movie theatre. 我们去电影院吧。
【解析】这是由let引导的祈使句,表示一种请求、建议或命令等。
movie是可数名词,同义词为film
watch a movie 看电影
watch/see a film
4. Kung Fu Dinosaur wants to save Panpan. 功夫恐龙想救盼盼。
1) save 作动词,意为“解救”
2) save one’s life 挽救某人的生命
3) save 作动词,还可意为“节省,储蓄”
e.g. Mum tells me to save money.
妈妈告诉我要存钱。
5. At the hotel, an old man gives him a magic map.
在旅馆里,一位老人给了他一张魔法地图。
give sb. sth.= give sth. to sb. 给某人某物
e.g. Mum gives me the book.= Mum gives the book to me.
妈妈把书给了我。
6. Watch the movie and find out.
看电影并找出答案吧。
1) find out 表示“发现,查明,弄清楚”,多指通过调查、询问、研究之后“搞清楚”。
2) find意为”找到、发现”,强调的是找的结果。
3) look for 表示寻找,强调寻找的过程或动作。
e.g. My mobile phone is lost. I look for it everywhere, but I can’t find it. Could you help me find out where it is
我的手机丢了,我到处找,但是没找到,你能帮我查查它在哪里吗?
Step 3 Let’s Do It!

Listen to the passage and circle the correct pictures.
2. Read the lesson and put the sentences in the correct order.
3. Fill in the blanks with the correct forms of the words in the box.
4.Work in groups. Talk about your favourite movie and make a poster for it.
