Lesson 35 Let’s Go to the Museum!
【教学目标】
(1)能够听、说、读、写单词:hall, famous, boring, painting, war, learn, history,
area, gift。
(2)学会运用问路及应答的词或短语,能使用现在进行时,一般现在时和祈使句。
(3)能够听、说、运用句型:
Where are we going first
That’s boring.
We can learn about the history of war.
Let’s ask that man.
Maybe he knows the way.
We are looking for the War Hall.

(4)能够用正确的语音, 语调朗读课文中的对话, 能运用所学知识与他人问候交流,进行英语日常交际。

新课导入:
Warm up

Look and guess!
根据课件图片进行学习,引入本课的内容学习。
新课讲授:
Step 1 New words and expression.
(1) famous adj. 著名的;出名的
famous的用法:
famous作形容词,意为“著名的;出名的”。
同义词是well-known, 意为“众所周知的”,常用于口语中。
This museum has many famous paintings.
这个博物馆有许多著名的绘画作品。
(2) boring 意为“无聊的”,在句中可作表语或定语,
常修饰物或事情;
e.g. The film is boring.
(3) painting
She can see many famous paintings.
(4) learn
learn about /of 意为“了解到……的消息(情况、信息、事实等)”。
We can learn about the history of war. 我们可以了解战争的历史。
(5) hall
How can we get to the Art Hall
(6) history:历史 war:战争
We can learn about the history of war.
通过单词游戏,引出要学习的新知,引起学生的兴趣,然后利用学生的迁移能力,引导学生自读单词,培养学生的思维能力。
Step 2 课文内容学习
课堂导入:
Which hall of a museum do you like most (呈现教课书图片。)
听录音,学习第一部分内容。
文本内容:
Danny and Jenny are at the museum.
Danny: Jenny, where are we going first
Jenny: Hmm ... Oh, I know! Let’s go to the Art Hall. This museum has many famous paintings.
Danny: That’s boring, Jenny! Let’s go to the War Hall. We can learn about the history of war.
Jenny: OK. We can go to the War Hall first. But where is it
Danny: Let’s ask that man. Maybe he knows the way.
Jenny: Excuse me. We are looking for the War Hall. Can you help us
Museum clerk: Yes. Go straight down the Rest Area and turn left at the Gift Shop. Then turn right at the Help Desk. Pass the 3D Hall, you will see the War Hall on your left.
Jenny: Thank you.
Museum clerk: You’re welcome.
Jenny: Danny, you see The Art Hall is just over there.
Danny: OK. OK. We are going to the Art Hall first. But I want to buy a donut at the Rest Area.
Jenny: You’re a great friend, Danny!
Danny: I know.
通过听录音,跟读录音,分角色朗读,集中学生注意力,提高听读的效果,巩固所学的知识。
Language points:
1. Jenny, where are we going first
詹妮,我们先去哪儿?
该句是由现在进行时表示即将发生的动作(将来时)。在英语中一些表示短暂性动作的动词,如:go, come, leave, arrive等可以用现在进行时表示按计划或安排即将发生的事。
e.g. The bus is coming.
2. famous adj. 著名的;出名的
famous的用法:
famous作形容词,意为“著名的;出名的”。
同义词是well-known, 意为“众所周知的”,常用于口语中。
This museum has many famous paintings.
这个博物馆有许多著名的绘画作品。
famous 相关常用短语:
be famous for 以/因……而著名
e.g. China is famous for the Great Wall.
be famous as 作为……而出名,指某人以某种身份而出名
e.g. Robert Downey Jr. is famous as a movie star.
3. We can learn about the history of war.
learn about/ of 意为“了解到……的消息(情况、信息等)”。
e.g. I’m sorry to learn of his illness. 听说他病了,我很难过。
4. Excuse me. 对不起。
Excuse me是用于麻烦别人、提出请求或询问情况时的委婉语, 意为“劳驾,请原谅,打扰了,对不起”。
【对比】Sorry常用于因自己的过失而表示歉意,主要用于事后道歉。
