【教学目标】

通过单词游戏,引出要学习的新知,引起学生的兴趣,然后利用学生的迁移能力,引导学生自读单词,培养学生的思维能力。

听录音,学习第一部分内容。
文本内容:
Jenny’s grandma is having a birthday party at her house.
Jenny is making a birthday card for her. She is using paper and crayons to make the card. She is putting a picture of her family on the front. And inside the card her family will write something for Grandma.

Language points:
1. She is using paper and crayons to make the card.
本句句式为use ... to do ...意为“用……做……”。相当于do ... with ...。
本句也可以这样说:She is making the card with paper and crayons.
e.g. We can use a pen to write.=We can write with a pen.
我们可以用钢笔写字。
2. She is putting a picture of her family on the front.
on the front 意为“在正面”;
on the front of 意为“在……的正面”。
e.g. There is a cat on the front of the card.
Her name is on the front of the book.
3. Jenny is making a birthday card for her.
make sth. for sb. 为某人做某事
My mother is making a birthday cake for me.
make sb. do sth.让某人做某事
Her mother makes her get up early every morning.

【课后反思】
通过反思,我觉得本节课成功之处有以下几点:
1. 导课自然,激趣环节把握好。
2. 运用猜谜游戏和图片举例引导,让学生方便学习,容易理解。
3. 通过图片把大家在日常生活中举办生日晚会时做的事情联系起来,现在进行时态的英语习惯表达,让学生以小组为单位,通过模仿课本或教师提供的例句编写小短文。这样学生在比较愉悦的课堂气氛中完成了语言输入和输出的过程。只是教师在学生讨论对话时,要加强对小组的监督,防止有学生浑水摸鱼,并适时对实力较弱的小组提供帮助。
不足之处:
①多用鼓励性语言鼓励学生积极回答问题。
②时间运用不够合理,以后多注意加强上课节奏感。
