【教学目标】
(1)能够听、说、读、写单词:bedroom, dictionary, front, above, thirty。
(2)学会运用介词描述房间物品的摆放位置的句型,能描述某个物品的具体位置,学会询问年龄的句型。
(3)能够听、说、运用句型:This is my bedroom./The desk is beside the bed.
The dictionary is on the desk.
The chair is in front of the desk.
Where is my cat /It is sleeping behind the door.

新课导入:

根据课件图片进行学习,引入本课的内容学习。
新课讲授:
Step 1 New words and expression.
(1) dictionary
You can look up the word in the dictionary.
(2) bedroom
This is Danny’s bedroom.
(3) front
It is in front of the desk.
(4) above
The clock is above the bed.
(5) thirty
There are thirty balls.
通过单词游戏,引出要学习的新知,引起学生的兴趣,然后利用学生的迁移能力,引导学生自读单词,培养学生的思维能力。
Step 2 课文内容学习
课堂导入:
Can you describe the distribution (分布) of objects in your bedroom
(呈现教课书图片。)听录音,学习第一部分内容。
文本内容:
1) Danny’s bedroom
This is my bedroom. The desk is beside the bed.
The dictionary is on the desk. The chair is in
front of the desk. The ball is under the chair.
The picture is above the bed. It is on the wall.
Where is my cat It is sleeping behind the door.
2) How old is he
Jim: This is a nice picture. Who is that man beside you
Danny: That’s my uncle.
Jim: How old is he
Danny: He is thirty.
Jim: How old are you
Danny: I’m thirteen years old. How about you
Jim: I’m twelve.
通过听录音,跟读录音,分角色朗读,集中学生注意力,提高听读的效果,巩固所学的知识。
Language points:
1. beside /b sa d/ prep. 在……旁边
辨析beside和near
beside指的是一物紧靠另一物,之间没有距离;near指的是两物之间的距离很近,但还有一定的距离。
e.g. She is standing beside the table.
她正站在桌子旁边。(她与桌子之间不再有其他物体)
2. front /fr nt/ n. 正面;前面
e.g. There is a big tree in front of the house.
这所房子前面有一棵大树。
辨析in front of 和 in the front of
in front of “在……的前面”,强调一个物体在另一个物体外部的前面。in the front of “在……的前部/端”,强调一个物体在另一个物体内部的前面。
3. under /’ nd (r)/ prep.在……下面
辨析under与below
under 指在某物的正下方,有垂直在下的意思。 反义词是over
below 指位于某物的下方,但不一定是在正下方。还可指数量、级别、程度等“在……以下”。 反义词是above
e.g. The dog is under the desk. 狗在桌子下面。
The bird is flying below the clouds.
鸟在云层下飞翔。
4. 句型:“主语+be+介词短语.”,意为“……在……”。
e.g. The book is on the desk.书在桌子上。
above / ’b v/ prep. 在……之上
e.g. There is a map above the blackboard.
黑板上方有一张地图。
辨析above, over和on
above 表示“在……之上”,指某物的位置高出另一个物体或另一位置,两物之间不接触,反义词为below。
over 表示“在……的正上方”,侧重于两物之间的垂直高度,反义词为under。
on 表示“在……上”,指某物在另一物的上面,强调两物体表面相互接触。
e.g. A plane is flying above the clouds.
一架飞机在云层上飞行。
A bridge is over the river. 河上有座桥。
A cup of tea is on the table. 桌上有杯茶。
5. behind /b ha nd/ prep.意为“在……的后面”,它表示的位置关系与in front of相反。
e.g. Alice and I are good friends. She sits behind me.
我和艾丽斯是好朋友,她坐在我的后面。
辨析behind, in, under与on
这四个词都是方位介词,你弄清它们表示的位置关系了吗 我们不妨用图示的方法对它们进行辨析:
词义 用法 例句
behind 在……后面 表示某物在另一物体外部的后面。 The ball is behind the box. 球在盒子后面。
in 在……里 面 表示门、窗、钉子、洞、孔等在墙上用in the wall,表示人、鸟等在树上用in the tree。 The ball is in the box. 球在盒子里。
under 在……下面 表示某物在另一物的正下方。 The ball is under the box. 球在盒子下面。
on 在……上面 常指一个物体在另一个物体的上面,并有接触。 The ball is on the box. 球在盒子上。

【课后反思】
本课时的教学内容是冀教版七年级上册英语第五单元的第三课时, 重点在于引导学生谈论房间物品的摆放位置, 从“我的卧室”开始, 自然地导入谈论物体方位的话题。以介绍自己的卧室作为任务引起学生的兴趣, 训练学生的听力和口语表达能力。利用动作、手势和图片学习英语单词, 同时反复运用新学的单词和 短语。因此, 教师可以将知识目标定为掌握本课时新出现的词和短语, 表示物体的方位和询问年龄的句型。
