【教学目标】
(1)能够听、说、读、写单词:businessman, weekend, together, others, hard。
(2)掌握和运用介绍家谱和家庭成员的句型,学会使用一般现在时介绍家庭成员, 学会描述人物特点。
(3)能够听、说、运用句型:① I have no brothers or sisters.
② I can talk to him about everything.
③ On weekends, we play football together.
④ She is always ready to help others.
(4)能够用正确的语音、语调朗读课文中的对话, 能运用所学知识与他人问候交流,进行英语日常交际。
【教学重难点】

难点:学会使用一般现在时介绍家庭成员, 学会描述人物特点。

【教学过程】
新课导入:
Look and say: Li Ming’s family
根据课件图片复习学过的单词。
Let’s sing a song.
新课讲授:
Step 1 New words and expression.
(1) businessman (商人).
This is Bill Gates. He is a businessman.
(2) together (在一起) The family is having dinner together.
(3) hard (难的) It is not hard to learn English well.
(4) others (其他人) We should think of others more than ourselves.
(5) on weekends Li Ming and his father often play football on weekends.
通过单词游戏,引出要学习的新知,引起学生的兴趣,然后利用学生的迁移能力,引导学生自读单词,培养学生的思维能力。
Step 2 课文内容学习
课堂导入:
Can you describe your family tree Let’s have a look of Li Ming’s family tree.
(呈现教课书图片。)听录音,学习第一部分内容。
文本内容:
1) Li Ming’s family tree
This is my family tree. We live in China. I have two grandmothers and two grandfathers. I have no brothers or sisters. My parents have one son, me! My uncle and aunt have one daughter, Li Jing. She is very young. I love my family.
2) Father and Mother, I love you.
I have a great dad. He is tall and strong. He has many friends. What does my father do He is a businessman. I can talk to him about everything. On weekends, we play football together.
I love my mum. I am close to her. She is a doctor and she is very kind. She is always ready to help others.
I am a student. I work hard at school. I love my family. We always have fun together.
Family→Father and Mother, I love you.
通过听录音,跟读录音,分角色朗读,集中学生注意力,提高听读的效果,巩固所学的知识。
Language points:
1. I have no brothers or sisters.
no用作形容词, 意为“没有”, 常位于名词前, 用来否定这个名词。
I have no bread or milk.
我没有面包和牛奶。
【拓展】no的同义短语是not any。
I have no pens.
=I don’t have any pens. 我没有钢笔。
2. On weekends, we play football together.
在周末,我们一起踢足球。
weekend 名词,“周末”;
on weekends 指在周六和周日;
其对应词 on weekdays 意为“在工作日”,一般指周一至周五。
e. g. I often wash my clothes on weekends.
3. I am close to her.
be close to sb.意为“和……亲近”。
We are close to our teachers.
我们和老师亲近。
【拓展】“be close to+地点”意为“离……近”。
My home is close to the park.
我家离公园很近。
4. I can talk to him about everything.
talk to sb. about sth.意为“和某人谈论某事”。
My sister is talking to her classmates about the movies. 我妹妹正在和她的同学们谈论电影。
【拓展】talk to/with sb.意为“和某人谈论”。talk about sth.意为“谈论某事”。
Tom is talking to his teacher.
汤姆正在和他的老师谈话。
They are talking about their favourite food. 他们正在谈论他们最喜欢的食物。
5. She is always ready to help others.
be ready to do意为“准备好做……”。
它的同义短语是be ready for。
My brother is ready to go to school.
我弟弟准备好去上学。
We are ready for the party.
我们为晚会做好了准备。
Step 3 Let’s Do It!
1. Search for family words and write them down.
2. Read Part 1 of the lesson and answer the questions.
3. Read Part 2 of the lesson and fill in the blanks.
4. Work in groups. Draw and label your own family tree. Then talk about it.
