Lesson 25 Jenny’s Family
【学习目标】
(1)能够听、说、读、写单词:member, son, daughter, drive, policeman, radio。
(2)能使用本课的词汇及句式介绍家庭成员及职业。掌握一般现在时和现在进行时的用法。

根据课件图片复习学过的单词。
新课讲授:
Step 1 New words and expression.
(1) drive v. 驾驶;用车送…… n. 驱车旅行
driver 司机bus driver 公共汽车司机
He is a bus driver.
(2) policeman He is a policeman.
(3) member They are family members.
(4) radio He is talking on the police radio.
通过单词游戏,引出要学习的新知,引起学生的兴趣,然后利用学生的迁移能力,引导学生自读单词,培养学生的思维能力。

文本内容:
Jenny’s family members
This is Jenny’s family. Jenny is my friend. She lives in Canada. Mr. Smith is
Jenny’s father. Mrs. Smith is her mother. She has a brother—Bob, and a sister—Lynn.
We are the Smith family.
We are the Smith family. We live in Canada.
My mother’s name is Mary Smith. What does she do She is a bus driver. Look! She is driving a bus.
My father is a worker. His name is Jim Smith. Look at this photo. He is working.
My brother is a policeman. His name is Bob. What is he doing He is talking on the police radio.
My sister is a student. Her name is Lynn. Look at this photo. Where is she going She is walking to school.
I am a student, too. I love my family.
通过听录音,跟读录音,分角色朗读,集中学生注意力,提高听读的效果,巩固所学的知识。
Language points:
1. What does she do
此句用来询问某人的职业(3种表达方式)
1) What do/does sb. do
2) What + be + 主语
3) What + be + one’s job
回答句:“主语 + be +a/an + 职业名称”
e.g. My father is a teacher.(划线提问)
2. the Smith family指“史密斯一家”。
也可以用the Smiths来表示,即“the+姓氏复数”表示“……一家人”,等于“the+姓氏单数+family”。
e.g. the Green family=the Greens 格林一家
“……一家人”在句中作主语时,谓语动词用复数。
e.g. The Browns/The Brown family are friendly to everyone. 布朗一家对每个人都友好。
3. He is talking on the police radio.
他正在用警用对讲机交谈。
talk on the police radio“用警用对讲机交谈”,其中on是介词,此处意为“通过”。类似的还有on the telephone。
e.g. Your voice sounds different on the phone.
在电话里,你的声音听起来不同。
Jenny is playing on the computer.
詹妮正在玩电脑。
radio / re d / n. 无线电;收音机复数形式为radios。
4. 现在进行时态
含义:表示正在发生或进行的动作。
构成:be (am, is, are) + v.-ing
Step 3 Let’s Do It!
1. Listen and match the people with the job descriptions.
2. Read Part 2 of the lesson and answer the questions.
3. Work in groups. Play Guess and Do. One student performs an action and the others guess what he or she is doing. Take turns acting and guessing.
4. Work in groups. Bring some photos of your family. Talk about them. Then write about one photo and present it to the class.

【课后反思】
本节新课的教学目标是通过听说活动的设置,重点帮助学生了解如何介绍家庭成员及职业,并懂得要爱家人。整节课遵循了由易到难,从输入到输出的原则,首先通过导入引出关于family这一话题,通过边讨论边学习新单词从而加深学生对单词的掌握程度。词汇的学习是为了帮助学生更好地理解和完成课文内容的输入过程。其次便是对于课文句式的不断练习,最终达到掌握课文的输出形式。
针对课堂实际教学,亮点和不足同时存在,对本节课的简要分析如下:
亮点:(1)编排思路清晰,环节衔接紧密,教学目标清楚。教学过程安排合理,从易到难,便于学生的理解。整节课的基本思路为引入主题-整体感知-词汇学习-听力训练-渗透语法--语言输出等练习-主题的升华,即培养学生爱家人的情感态度;(2)教学语言得体,丰富,教姿教态自然,语速适中有一定的课堂掌控能力。教学重难点围绕着教学目标进行,整节课能灵活地处理和整合教材,有一定的容量,难度适合学生当前水平。(3)课堂的过渡严谨、自然,注重对学生语言运用的培养和指导,突出学生的主体地位、教师的指导作用。(4)整节课前后互有呼应,通过练习巩固所学知识。
