Sandwiches are my favourite food.
(2) takeout [’te ka t] n. 外卖食品
tip [tip] n. 指点,提示
A takeout is a store or restaurant which sells hot cooked food that you eat somewhere else.
He left a large tip after lunch. 午饭后留了一大笔小费。
This tip is aimed at power users and administrators. 这个提示是针对高级用户和计算机管理员的。

be away for + 一段时间
Your dad and I are away for three days. 你父亲和我要离开三天。

Dear Danny,
Your dad and I are away for three days. I put your new jacket and your favourite shorts on your bed. Eat good food and get enough rest. Don’t watch too much TV! You can find vegetables, fruit, bread and meat in the fridge. You can make a sandwich or you can order takeout. Here are some tips for you:
★eat 2~3 vegetables a day
★eat 2~3 fruits a day
★have some meat every day
★have a glass of milk every day
★eat only one donut a day
★drink only one bottle of coke a day

Some English words are too long, so they have short forms. For example, TV is short for television.
Fridge is short for refrigerator.
P.S. is short for postscript.

Language points:
1) Your dad and I are away for three days.
be away用作动词短语, 意为“离开”。
My dad is away for two days.
我爸爸离开两天了。
【拓展】 be away只表示离开或远离的状态, 而想在后面接地点的时候, 介词from绝不能少。
My cousin will be away from London.
我表弟将会离开伦敦。
2) Don’t watch too much TV!
【辨析】too much和too many
too much, too many均意为“太多的……”, 后常跟名词, too much后接不可数名词, too many后接可数名词复数。
The boy drinks too much coke.
这个男孩喝了太多的可乐。
Danny eats too many donuts.
丹尼吃了太多的面包圈。
3) be short for 意为“……是……的缩写”
e.g. Maths is short for mathematics.
Maths 是mathematics的缩写。
for short意为“简称;缩写”。
e.g. You can call him Bob for short. 你可以简称他为鲍勃。
4) watch /w t / v. 观看 多指看电视,看比赛等。
e.g. I watch TV every day. 我每天都看电视。
watch还可作名词,意思为“手表”,其复数形式为watches。
常见固定搭配:watch TV看电视
watch a movie看电影
watch a football match看足球比赛

【课后反思】
本课时的教学内容是冀教版七年级上册英语第四单元的第六课时, 重点在于引导学生如何培养健康的饮食习惯, 从表示“健康的食物”的词开始, 导入健康饮食的话题。以每天的三餐如何搭配作为任务引起学生的兴趣, 训练学生如何构建健康的饮食结构。利用动作、手势和图片学习英语单词, 同时在对话中反复运用一般现在时, 可数名词复数和不可数名词。因此, 教师可以将知识目标定为掌握本课时新出现的词和短语, 如何表达关于饮食方面的建议。
