【教学目标】

(2)让学生学会用本课所学句型关心他人和表达自己的不适。

通过单词游戏,引出要学习的新知,引起学生的兴趣,然后利用学生的迁移能力,引导学生自读单词,培养学生的思维能力。

文本内容:
1) Are you OK
Jenny: How do you feel, Jim Are you OK
Jim: See my arm It hurts!
Jenny: It looks bad! Let’s go and see a doctor.
Li Ming: Are you OK, Wang Mei
Wang Mei: Aaah, I feel sick. I have a stomachache.
Li Ming: You’d better go and see a doctor, Wang Mei.
2) You have a cold.
Dr. Green: Hi, Danny. What’s the matter
Danny: I feel sick. I have a headache.
Dr. Green: Do you feel cold
Danny: Yes! I feel very cold. Aachoo!!
Dr. Green: Well, let me see ... You have a cold. Take this medicine.
Stay home and have a good rest.
Danny: OK. Thank you, Doctor Green.
通过听录音,跟读录音,分角色朗读,集中学生注意力,提高听读的效果,巩固所学的知识。
Language points:
1) Are you OK 你还好吗
考查此句的答语和OK的词义。
OK / u’kei /,是okay的缩写形式,常用在口语中。中考考查其作为形容词的词义: 好的,指身体好,健康的。其回答有两种情况:
①肯定回答用“Yes, I’m OK. Thanks.”,意为“是的,我很好。谢谢。”
②否定回答用“No, I feel sick.”意为“不,我不舒服。”/ No, I have a headache.意为“不,我头疼。” 其同义句为“How are you today ”。
2) see a doctor看医生
see含有“拜访”之意。是固定搭配。
e.g. He feels sick. He wants to see a doctor.
他感到难受。他想去看医生。
3) have a stomachache胃疼,此处have为动词。“have+a(n)+病名”意为“得了……病”。考查固定短语have+a(n)+病名。其中a(n)为固定用法,不能用the,也不能去掉,但在翻译时不需要译出。
类似的短语有:
have a cold感冒 have a cough咳嗽
have a fever发烧 have a toothache牙疼
have a headache头疼 have an earache耳朵疼
You’d better go and see a doctor.
你最好去看医生。
此句是用来提出建议的句式。其结构为: Sb.+had better+动词原形+其他。
e.g. You’d better buy the book. 你最好买那本书。
had better 无人称和数的变化。其否定形式为: had better+not+do sth.+其他。
e.g. You’d better not go to the playground now.
你现在最好不要去操场。
Take this medicine. 吃这种药。
这是医生给病人的医嘱,为诊断用语。
“吃(药)”在英文表达中动词要用take。
e.g. Take this medicine three times a day. 这种药一天吃三次。
have a good rest 好好休息
rest /rest/ n. & v. 休息
e.g. Time is up. Let’s have a rest. 到时间了,咱们休息一下。(名词)
You can’t rest here. It’s too dangerous.
你不能在这儿休息,这儿太危险。(动词)

【课后反思】
本课主要是通过创设情境来让学生练习看医生的语句。学生参与面很广,积极进行表演,但是没有注意到学困生的学习能力和参与度。应该多在下面走走,必要时提供帮助,多进行积极评价,并把每个小组的分工弄得更合理、更高效。
