Lesson 9 Whose Coat Is This
【教学目标】
(1)能够听、说、读、写单词:scarf, glove, maybe, just。
(2)让学生学会运用whose对物的主人进行提问及其回答。
(3)能够听、说、运用句型:Whose ... is this
It’s sb’s ... / It’s + one’s (形容词性物主代词) + sth.
Whose ... are these They are sb’s ... / They’re + one’s + sth.
It’s / They’re too big/small/just right for sb.
(4)能够用正确的语音、语调朗读课文中的对话。能运用所学知识与他人问候交流,进行英语日常交际。
【教学重难点】
重点:能够听、说、读、写单词:scarf, glove, maybe, just。
难点:运用whose对物的主人进行提问及其回答。

It’s sb’s ... / It’s + one’s (形容词性物主代词) + sth.
Whose ... are these They are sb’s ... / They’re + one’s + sth.
It’s/They’re too big/small/just right for sb.

【教学过程】
新课导入:
Step 1 Let’s Review!
复习前面所学过的表示衣服的单词。
新课讲授:
Step 1 New Words and expression.
(1) scarf [skɑ:f] n. 围巾
It’s a scarf.
(2) maybe [‘me bi: ] adv. 也许; 大概
Maybe it is Kim’s scarf.
(3) glove [gl v] 手套 two gloves 两只手套
Whose gloves are these
(4) just [d st] adv. 恰恰;刚刚;差不多
just right 刚刚好,恰好
They’re just right for me!
通过单词游戏,引出要学习的新知,引起学生的兴趣,然后利用学生的迁移能力,引导学生自读单词,培养学生的思维能力。
Step 2 课文内容学习
What should you do when you find something that belongs to others
(呈现教课书图片。)听录音,学习第一部分内容。
文本内容:
Jenny: Whose coat is this Is it your coat, Danny
Danny: No. It’s too big for me. It’s Bob’s coat.
Mr. Jones: Whose scarf is this Is it your scarf, Jenny
Jenny: No, it’s not my scarf. It’s Kim’s scarf.
Danny: Whose gloves are these
Jenny: They’re too small for me. Maybe they’re Lynn’s gloves.
Mr. Jones: Whose shorts are these Are they your shorts, Danny
Danny: Yes, they are. See They’re just right for me!
通过听录音,跟读录音,分角色朗读,集中学生注意力,提高听读的效果,巩固所学的知识。
Task: Read and answer the questions.
Language points:
1) Whose coat is this 这是谁的大衣
此句型是由whose (谁的)引导的特殊疑问句。用来询问物品归谁所有,用于对物主代词或名词所有格提问。它既可以作定语修饰名词单数、复数或不可数名词,也可以单独使用。句型转换时,其后有名词,要将名词一起提前。
其结构为:
Whose+
This is my book. (对画线部分提问)→Whose book is this
答语为“It’s/They’re+形容词性物主代词/名词所有格+名词.”。
e.g. —Whose books are these 这些是谁的书
—They are my books. 它们是我的书。
2) It’s too big for me. 它对我来说太大了。
sth. is too+形容词(原级)+for sb.意思为“某物对某人来说太……”。
e.g. The coat is too big for me.
这件大衣对我来说太大了。
(1) too意思为“太”,用来修饰形容词或副词原级,表示与需要或允许的程度相差很多。
e.g. The shirt is too big for me.
这件衬衫对我来说太大了。
(2) 介词for后接表示人的词,意思为“对于某人来说;为某人;给某人”。
e.g. These gloves are too small for me.
这些手套对我来说太小了。
Kim’s金的,在英语中,有些名词在其后加’s可用来表示所属关系,称为名词所有格,意为“……的”。
名词所有格的构成:一般情况直接加’s
This is my father’s car. 这是我父亲的汽车。
以s结尾的复数名词 在词尾加’
My parents’ room is big and clean. 我父母的房间又大又干净。
两者或两者以上共有的 在最后一个名词后加’s
The woman is Lucy and Lily’s mother. 那个女人是露西和莉莉的妈妈。
两个人各自所有 两个名词分别加’s
Tom’s and Jim’s rooms aren’t clean. 汤姆的房间和吉姆的房间不干净。
just right正合适,刚刚好,正好
e.g. The skirt is just right for Jenny.
这条裙子对詹妮来说正合适。
just作副词,修饰形容词、动词等,意为“恰恰,刚刚,差不多”。
e.g. These gloves are just right for me.
这副手套对我来说正合适。
She just spoke to me. 她刚跟我讲过话。
Step 3 Let’s Do It!
1. Listen and match the people with their clothes.
2. Read the lesson and circle the correct words.
3. Fill in the blanks with words from this lesson.
4. Work in pairs. Look at the items in the “Lost and Found”. Whose items are they Make up a dialogue.
Role play

本课时的教学内容是冀教版七年级上册英语第二单元的第三课时, 重点在于引导学生为物体寻找主人, 从表示“谁的”词开始, 自然地导入寻找失主的话题。以寻找失主作为任务引起学生的兴趣, 训练学生的听力和口语表达能力。利用动作、手势和图片学习英语单词, 同时在对话中反复运用新学的单词和短语。因此,教师可以将知识目标定为掌握本课时新出现的词和短语, 询问失主的句型。
