Lesson 8 Danny’s Favourite Colour
【教学目标】
(1)能够听、说、读、写单词:paint, rainbow, mix, purple, out, sky。
(2)学生能认识及听懂各种不同的颜色名称; 能自由表达出自己喜欢的颜色; 了解并能简单地表达出调色的过程。
(3)能够听、说、运用句型:
1) Do you want to paint with me
2) Here is some red paint.
3) I can mix blue and yellow to make green.
4) How many colours do you see
5) What is Danny’s favourite colour
(4)能够用正确的语音、语调朗读课文中的对话。能运用所学知识与他人问候交流,进行英语日常交际。
【教学重难点】
重点:能够听、说、读、写单词:paint, rainbow, mix, purple, out, sky。

【教学过程】
新课导入:
Step 1 Let’s Review!
1. 复习前面所学过的句型及单词。
A: What colour is it
B: It’s ________.
A: What’s your favourite colour
B: My favourite colour is ______.
2. 新课导入: Let’s enjoy a song!
播放动画歌曲视频,学生跟唱歌曲,引入本课的学习内容。
新课讲授:
Step 1 New Words and expression.
(1) paint v. 画
The girl is painting a tiger.
(2) mix v. 混合;调配
purple adj. n. 紫色的
You can mix blue and red to make purple.
(3) rainbow n. 彩虹 sky n. 天空
The rainbow is in the sky. n. 天空
(4) out adv. 在外面;在……外面
Let’s go out for a walk.
通过单词游戏,引出要学习的新知,引起学生的兴趣,然后利用学生的迁移能力,引导学生自读单词,培养学生的思维能力。
Step 2 课文内容学习
How many colors do you see in a rainbow What is your favorite color
1. What’s Danny’s favourite colour?
(呈现教课书图片。)听录音,学习第一部分内容。
文本内容:
Jenny: Hi, Danny. Do you want to paint with me
Danny: Sure!
Jenny: Here is some red paint.
Danny: No, I don’t like red.
Jenny: OK. How about blue
Danny: Blue is good. But do you have yellow
Jenny: Yes. Is yellow your favourite colour
Danny: No, but I can mix blue and yellow to make green.
Jenny: That’s right! Is green your favourite colour
Danny: Yes, it is.
过听录音,跟读录音,分角色朗读,集中学生注意力,提高听读的效果,巩固所学的知识。
完成练习:Task 1: Read the text and answer the question.
Task 2: Fill in the blanks.
I am a rainbow.
I am a rainbow. Look at me.
How many colours do you see
I am red, orange and blue.
I am green, yellow and purple, too.
I come out after the rain. High in the sky
I am a rainbow. I want to say “Hi!”
Dig In
  You can mix two different colours together to make a new colour! Blue and yellow make green. Red and blue make purple. Red and yellow make orange. You can mix white with another colour to make it a light colour. Try it! What colours can you make
Language points:
(1) Do you want to paint with me 你想和我一块画吗?
1) want + sth.
want之后通常加名词或代词,表示想要某物。
The little boy wants a new toy. 这个小男孩想要一个新玩具。
2) want to do sth. want之后加动词不定式to do表示想做某事。
I want to go to the park tomorrow. 我想明天去公园。
3) want sb. to do sth. 想让某人做某事。
I want Jenny to go with me. 我想让詹妮和我一起去。
(2) How about blue 蓝色怎样呢?
how about 用于询问或征询意见等,相当于 what about ,后接名词、代词或动词-ing 形
式,译为“……怎么样” 。
I like playing football. How about you
我喜欢踢足球。你呢?
(3) I don’t like red. 我不喜欢红色。
此句为否定陈述句。
当谓语动词是行为动词,主语不是第三人称单数时,其语序为:主语(非单三)+don’t+动词原形+其他。
e.g. I don’t like the pen. 我不喜欢这支钢笔。
(4) in the sky 在天空,是固定短语。
e.g. The bird is high in the sky. 那只鸟高高地在天空中。
考查短语in the sky“在天上”。也可用“a/an+形容词+sky”结构。
e.g. a clear blue sky 晴朗蔚蓝的天空
Step 3 Let’s Do It!
1. What’s Danny’s favourite colour Listen and tick the correct answer.
2. Fill in the missing letters. Then colour the rainbow in the same order of the words.
3. Colour the paint cans and write the colours.
4. Look at the list of colours in the table below. Can you name some things that are those colours
Work in pairs.
两种不同的颜色混合在一起就可以形成一种新的颜色。根据上图提示,练习如下对话:
