Hi, everyone! I’m a bat (蝙蝠). I’m an overnight hit (一夜成名) now. Let me tell you something about me.
I like warm places, but if it isn’t too cold, I can live anywhere.
I live in places like caves (山洞) and tree holes. I can also live in the buildings.
My body is small and I have two thin wings (翅膀).
I’m usually dark brown, but I can also be black, grey or dark red.
I can be huge—more than 5 feet (about 1.5 metres) from wing to wing, or very small—just more than 1 inch (about 2.5 centimetres) from the end of one wing to the end of the other.
I usually eat insects (昆虫), but I can also eat fruit. Sometimes I even eat small birds and animals.
Because I can fly well in the air, other animals can hardly bother (打扰) me. But I do have a hard time because people sometimes hurt (伤害) me.
