Part B
The Ming Tombs are a group of tombs located to the north of the capital Beijing. They were built for 13 emperors （皇帝）of the Ming Dynasty and their queens. The tombs are surrounded by a wall and are divided（划分） into three sections: the front section, the middle section, and the back section.
The front section is where the emperors' tombs are located. Each emperor has his own tomb, which is surrounded by a square wall. Inside the square wall, there are many smaller tombs where the queens of the emperor are buried.
The middle section is called the "valley of grandsons (子孙)". Here, there are tombs of the grandsons of the Ming emperors, as well as their queens. The grandsons' tombs are circular in shape and are located on both sides of a valley.
The back section is called the "valley of descendants(后代 )". Here, there are tombs of the descendants of the Ming emperors, as well as their queens and concubines. The descendants' tombs are rectangular in shape and are located on both sides of a valley.
The Ming Tombs are a place where history and culture meet. Visitors can learn about the history and culture of the Ming Dynasty, as well as see the beautiful scenery（风景） of the tombs and surrounding mountains.
