【自主探究】 be supposed to do sth. 相当于should do/be expected to do sth.,意为“应该做某事”, 用来表示根据规定或传统习惯人们不得不做某事或期待发生某事。be动词有人称和时态的变化。如: As a student, you are supposed/expected to study hard.
◆其否定结构为be not supposed to ...,常用于口语中,意为“不被许可……,不应当……”。如:
We are not supposed to be late for class.
◆be supposed to be+adj./n. 还表示“被认为……”。如:
