本单元要求学生掌握英文字母A-H,能认读其印刷体和手写体的大小写四种形式。书写(大写和小写、笔顺、笔画)基本合乎要求。学习一些简单的英文名字,注意区别性别,并为自己取一个英文名字。能听、说、读、写本单元所列的日常交际用语,重点学会打招呼、相互问候并做到语音、语调正确。注意一些字母及日常交际用语的发音,总结元音字母a和e的发音规则。

Step 1 Lead-in
Greet the students and lead in the new lesson.

Step 2 Work on 1a
1.T:We have many new friends in our class this year.They are from the USA and England.Who are they Do you want to know them Now please look at the screen.

1.Tell students that our new friends are greeting each other.Please keep quiet and listen to the recording.

运用刚学的句型和自己刚才所选择的英文名字来相互问候。

Step 5 Work on (2a~2b)
1.介绍26个英文字母。
2.Let some students read out the letters Aa-Hh.(注意纠正学生们不正确的读音)

Step 6 Work on 2c
1.First,look at the picture carefully in 2c.Then tell students how to write these English letters.
2.Students read and find out the writing rules of the letters Aa-Hh.
3.Students try to copy the letters by themselves.
4.Let some students come to the front,and write down the letters on the blackboard.Check with the whole class.
Step 7 Work on 2d
1.First,read the letters aloud.Then let some students read them to the class aloud.
2.Let some students come to the front and write down the missing letters on the blackboard.
3.Check the answers with the class.
Step 8 Work on 2e
1.Let students look at the pictures in 2e.Let some students read the letters below each picture.

2.Ask students to greet each other,using their English names.

1.Ask students to look at the dialogue in 3c.Tell students Dale and Cindy haven't met each other for a long time.How should they greet each other
