Starter Unit 3 What color is it(教案2课时)
【2023秋人教七上英语(听说版)高效备课】
本单元主要围绕“辨认颜色”这一话题展开各种教学活动,并通过这一话题引出表示颜色的单词,询问颜色的特殊疑问句及其答语。同时,学习字母S—Z,复习巩固所学的26个英文字母,总结归纳元音字母a,e,i,o,u的发音规则。在整个单元的学习中,注意给学生创造一个轻松记单词,愉快地学习、交流的环境,通过听、说、读、写来培养学生综合运用知识的能力,并让学生能在“做中学”(learning by doing),通过课堂实践活动,注意观察别人的行动,并准确地用英语来表达。通过本单元的教学,使学生能运用所学的知识,正确地描述物品的颜色;同时熟练掌握所学的26个英文字母。

学习英文字母歌。
活动 2 Summarize the rules
总结元音字母A,E,I,O,U的发音规律。
Period Ⅰ (1a~2e)
1.学习询问颜色的句型及其答语。
2.字母Ss-Zz的顺序、读音及书写。

Step 1 Lead-in
Listen to the song Color.
Step 2 Work on 1a
Read the colors on the left,and then read the letters.Write the letters for each color.Then check the answers.
Step 3 Work on 1b
Look at the picture in 1a.Some students are talking about the colors and letters.Now let students listen to the recording first.Then repeat after it.
Step 4 Work on 1c
Look at the picture in 1a.Practice the conversations in the picture with your partner.Then make your own conversations.e.g.
S1:What's this
S2:It's U.
S1:What color is it
S2:It's white.
Step 5 Work on 2a
1.Recite Aa-Rr.
2.Learn the letters Ss-Zz.
Listen to the letters.Students read out the letters Ss-Zz.
3.Let students try to remember the letters Ss-Zz.
Step 6 Work on 2b
Listen and number the letters you hear [1-8].
Step 7 Work on 2c
1.Learn how to write these letters.
T:First,look at the picture carefully in 2c.Then,tell us how to write these English letters.
2.Students read and find out the writing rules of the letters Ss-Zz.
S1:大写字母和小写字母t都是占上两格。
S2:字母s,u,v,w,x,z占中间一格。
S3:字母y占下两格。
3.Students try to copy the letters by themselves.
4.Let some students come to the front,and write down the letters on the blackboard.Check with the whole class.
Step 8 Work on 2d
1.Look at the picture in 2d.Try to write down the missing letters.Check the answers with your partner.
2.Let some students come to the front and write down the missing letters on the blackboard.
Step 9 Work on 2e
1.Look at the pictures in 2e.Let some students read the letters below each picture.
2.Let some students talk about the meaning of each picture.
Step 10 Homework
1.Recite the letters S-Z.
2.Practice asking the colors of things in English.

Step 1 Lead-in

T:Yes,this is a yellow key.What is this and what color is it
Ss:It's a pen.It's black.
T:So we can say this is a black pen.
Step 2 Work on 3a
Look at the pictures in 3a.Let students talk about the names of the objects in English.
T:What's this? S1:It's a cup.
T:What's this S2:It's a ruler.
T:And what's this? S3:It's a key.
Step 3 Work on 3b
1.Ask students to look at the chart.
(Tell students that they need to fill in the correct words of colors for each item.)
2.Then check the answers.
Step 4 Work on 3c
Look at the chart.You should write things you hear in the conversation in the left column.Then write down the colors of the things in the right column.
Then let some students read their words in the chart to check the answers.
Step 5 Work on 3d
1.Make conversations using the things in 3a-3c.

T:Spell it,please.
S1:K-E-Y.

S1:It's yellow.
2.Students work with their partners and make other conversations using the things in 3a-3c.Then let some pairs act out their conversations.
Step 6 Work on 4a
1.Ask students where we can find the 26 letters in our daily life.If students say computer keyboards,then show a real computer keyboard.
2.Look at the picture in 4a.Work with your partners and find the letters from A to Z.Then point at the letter from A to Z several times with your fingers.
3.Can you write the small letter beside each big letter Now write the small letter beside each big letter.
4.Let some students check the answers.
Step 7 Work on 4b
Listen and sing the alphabet song.
Step 8 Work on 4c
1.告诉学生这是有关元音字母a,e,i,o,u在单词中发音规则的总结,同学们认真听,看能否听出字母在左右两个方框中发音的不同。
2.首先,让学生说出字母a,e,i,o,u在单词中的两种发音,检测学生是否听出了其中的不同。然后,教授学生们字母a,e,i,o,u在单词中的两种发音。
3.Play the tape again for the students to listen and repeat.

1.Listen to the chant.
2.Students read the chant aloud.
Step 10 Homework
1.Review all the letters.
2.Sing the alphabet song and read the chant after class.
