Section A学会如何介绍自己的名字和询问对方的名字,学会使用简单的问候语。
1a~1c主要学习询问名字和简单的问候语。
2a~2d继续学习询问名字的句式和问候语。
Grammar focus~3c主要学习介绍他人的名字的方法。
Section B 学会询问和回答电话号码。
1a~1f学会询问和回答电话号码。
2a~2c学会family name,first name,last name的区分。
3a~Self Check检测本单元所学的知识,学会用英语介绍自己的名字和询问对方的名字及电话号码。

导入一 歌曲导入:
通过学习26个字母歌,调动课堂气氛,培养学生学习英语的兴趣。
导入二 复习导入:
在PPT上展示一些实物的图片,复习Starter Units 中的单词。
导入三 情境导入:
模拟上学时,同学们见面问好的情景,用 “Good morning!” “Hi!” “Hello!” 问好后,复习自我介绍的句型,并引出first name和 last name。
活动1 Role-play(让学生分角色表演自我介绍和询问他人名字的情景剧。)
Step 1 给学生提供简要信息,让学生充分发挥自主能动性。

Step 2 Listening (2a~2b)
2a.1.Show students the pictures in 2a,and ask them to listen to the recording carefully.
2.Play the recording again and let students number the pictures [1-4].Then check the answers together.
2b.1.Show students the names in 2b,and ask students to pay attention to them.
2.Play the recording and ask students to circle the names they hear.Then check the answers together.

Step 3 Work on 2c
Ask students to practice the conversations in pairs in 2c.

1.Ask students to read the conversation and answer the following questions.

3.Play the recording and let students read after it and imitate the pronunciation and intonation,and then ask students to try to memorize the conversation.
4.Ask students to act out the conversation in pairs and select some pairs to act in front of the class.

Review how to ask somebody's name.

Step 2 Work on Grammar Focus
Ask students to read the sentences in the grammar box by themselves.Pay attention to the change of “be”,observe the differences between personal pronouns and possessive pronouns.
T:Look at the two charts,there are many shortening words.Can you see them OK,please read them one by one.(Students read them and the teacher writes some shortening words on the black board.Correct some pronunciation.Give students 2 minutes to read them and try to recite.)

Step 3 Work on 3a
1.Look at 3a.Tell students to put the words in order to make conversations.Pay attention to the right sentence structure.Students work with their partners.Try to make conversations with the given words.
2.Check the answers.Encourage some pairs to act out the dialogue.See if their dialogues are right.
3.Students read the dialogue aloud after the teacher.Then try to practice the dialogues with their partners.
4.Ask some pairs to act out the dialogue in front of the class.

Step 4 Work on 3b
1.Look at 3b.Tell students to complete the conversation.Students work with their partners.Try to make a conversation.

3.Students read the conversations aloud after the teacher.Then try to practice the conversations with their partners.
4.Ask some pairs to act out the conversations in front of the class.
