Period Ⅰ Section A(1a～1c)和Period Ⅱ Section A(2a～2d)是听说课，由运动物品入手，对运动物品进行听说训练，主要训练学生对运动物品的听辨能力和自由交谈能力。
Period Ⅲ Section A(Grammar Focus～3c)是语法训练课，在对有关运动物品听说训练的基础上，引出一般现在时态的用法，主要总结一般疑问句的结构特点，然后进行人称、助动词和句式训练，加深对一般现在时态的理解。
Period Ⅳ Section B(1a～1d)是听说强化课，在学习评价性形容词的基础上，通过听力，训练学生对活动进行评价的听辨能力，然后利用评价性形容词进行自由交谈。
Period Ⅴ Section B(2a～2c)和Period Ⅵ Section B(3a～Self Check)是阅读写作课，通过一篇有关运动的校刊文章的阅读提高学生对此类文章的阅读能力，然后通过训练学生对有关运动物品所属情况的写作，提高学生的写作能力。
