1.Spell it, please. 请拼写一下吧。
这是一个用来考查别人拼写(读)能力的句式。用于别人提到的单词,自己不知如何拼写。让对方指出这个单词由哪几个字母组成。例如:
— It’s a jacket. 它是一个夹克衫。
— Spell it, please. 请拼写它。
— J-A-C-K-E-T.
Language points
2. please 意为“请”,常用于一些客套的场合,可放在句首,也可以放在句末。放在句末时,常用逗号与前面部分隔开。例如:
Please stand up.
= Stand up, please. 请起立。
3. What’s this in English
(1)在英语中What’s this (=What is this )常用于确认物品, 意为“这是什么 ”指离说话者较近的人或物时用this, 离说话者较远的人或物时用that, 回答用“It’s a/an. . . ”。
—What’s that ——那是什么
—It’s a cup. ——它是一个杯子。
(2)in English意为“用英语”, in在此为介词, 表示“用语言、声音、方法”等。in Chinese用汉语。
4.不定冠词a和an的用法
在英语中a, an是不定冠词, 常用于单数可数名词前表示泛指或指一类事物。
(1)a用在以辅音音素开头的词或字母之前。例如:
a “b”一个字母b a “u”一个字母u
a key一把钥匙
(2)an用在以元音音素开头的词或字母之前。例如:
an “h”一个字母h an orange一个橙子
an apple一个苹果
1.掌握两个元音以及四个辅音的发音,能认读并正确书写英文字母I—R。
2.复习巩固并熟练表达几个常用的名词,并会拼写,如 map, M-A-P 等。
3.巩固句型“这是什么,那是什么”并会表达“拼写”一词。
