Unit 1 Where did you go on vacation
本单元属于“人与社会”范畴,涉及“中外名胜古迹的相关知识和浏览体验”。围绕着描述“过去发生的事情”展开,学习和运用一般过去时的一般疑问句“Did you go/see/buy…?”和特殊疑问句“Where/What/How…?”询问过去的事件,让学生学会谈论和分享过去发生的事件。本课教学内容与学生的实际生活密切相关,便于引导学生学会运用简单的英语进行交流。在学习活动中,学生通过对过去发生的事情进行描述和交流,促进学生之间和师生之间的情感交流,增进情谊。
Section A的主要学习内容:复习一般过去时和动词过去式的规则与不规则变化;学习一般过去时的一般疑问句“Did you…?”及不定代词的用法。
Section B安排了许多听、说、读、写的任务活动,教师在教学中可以灵活运用这些活动,将其中的一些活动进行变化或整合,充分调动学生参与活动的积极性,提高学生的听说读写能力。

1.重点:(1)掌握一些与度假有关的单词、短语和句型。
(2)掌握动词过去式的规则及不规则变化,同时能在句子中熟练使用动词过去式。

导入一 图片导入
利用图片或视频进行课程导入,提供几种不同的假期活动,如爬山、去海滩、参加夏令营等,引导学生对各类假期活动进行简单描述。学生可以根据提供的图片或视频内容,选择自己最喜欢的一种活动,描述参加这种活动的乐趣及注意事项等,从而导入新课。

导入二 情境导入
创设活动场景,让一些学生做动作,如游泳、打篮球、购物、拍照片等,让其他学生猜这是什么活动,然后导入新课。

导入三 词汇导入
教师在黑板上写出一个单词,让学生联想与这个单词相关的一种活动。

活动一 Pair-work(两两对话,谈论假期活动。)

活动二 Role-play(分角色表演,巩固关于假期活动的表达在日常交际中的应用。)
1.教师给学生提供单词提示,让学生充分发挥自主能动性编对话。如:Shanghai,father,so many people,take quite a few photos,special,beach…
2.学生提供信息:人物、地点及事件等,让其他小组进行现场对话练习。
3.教师根据学生的对话,写下重点短语、句型:
(1)anywhere interesting;

(5)I was on vacation last month…
4.学生自主总结一般过去时的概念;一般过去时的陈述句、一般疑问句和特殊疑问句的结构;不定代(副)词的定语后置结构;不定式在句中作目的状语。

Read Jane's diary entries in 2b and answer the questions.

1.Ask students to read the sentences in the chart and then show the following questions on the PPT.Let students think by themselves.
(1)常见的复合不定代词有哪些?
(2)带有some的复合不定代词和带有any的复合不定代词有什么区别?
(3)当形容词和复合不定代词连用时,复合不定代词应该放在形容词之前还是之后?
(4)由some,any,no,every构成的复合不定代词作主语时,谓语动词用单数还是复数?
2.Let students discuss those questions in groups of four and then write their answers.Choose several groups to report the answers of their group and then evaluate their answers.
