　　Eradajere Oleita often finds ways to give back to society on her birthday. Before her 25th birthday in 2022, she watched a video on the Internet about how to iron foil－lined(铝箔内衬的) chip bags into sleeping bags. Oleita said the video gave her the idea of the Chip Bag Project.
　　“The project allows me to bring two of my thoughts together, people and the environment，” Oleita said. “We throw so many things away and never think about where that's ending.”
　　“It takes about four hours to make a sleeping bag. Each takes about 150 to 300 chip bags，” Oleita told The Detroit News. “Our sleeping bags are better than the cotton ones. They are waterproof(防水的) and light. They are easy to carry as well.”
　　So far, the Chip Bag Project has collected over 800，000 chip bags and created 110 sleeping bags. “Whenever we get a chip bag, we're preventing something going into our water，” Oleita said.
　　Oleita has also worked with the Youth Energy Squad. Her first large project was creating a 6－foot－tall Minion(小黄人) out of recycled plastic bottles.
　　“Before, I thought environmental things had nothing to do with people like me，” Oleita said. “But now I believe that each of us can do something for the future of the world, and at the same time we can help people in need.”
