五.Teaching steps
Step1. Warming-up & greetings(1munite)
1. Greet to Angel as usual
2. Say hello to the teachers and welcome them
Step2.Reviewing
1.Tell what people did yesterday by answering questions like: What did Angel do yesterday She visited a friend. What did you do yesterday I played basketball. Step3.Leading- in(16minutes)
1.T: Show pictures on the screen, guide the Ss to talk about them, then teach words and phrases like had/ had fun with friends,; won /won the game; ate/ ate some cotton candy etc.
2.Let the Ss watch a video, then answer some questions and learn lucky and luck
T: What did Tan Zhi Ying do yesterday
S1: She sang( a song).
T: Did she look happy
S2: Yes, she did.
T: So she had a great day.
T: Did she sing well
S3:Yes, she did.
T: Little Tan Zhi Ying is so lucky(板书带读) because she has a good father and her father is a music teacher.
3.Learn more words and phrases according to the pictures on screen
4.Play the game :What do you spy (每周园地)
Step4. Listening, watching and saying(10minutes)
1.Listen to the conversation between Jenny and Grace
2.Answer the questions on the screen.
1. Did Jenny have a lucky day or a bad day

3.Repeat after the tape.
4.Hand out the word cards and form sentences, working in groups.
