More reading and writing--- A long journey to the West
二、教学目标:
知识:
1.学生知道这是一篇《西游记》的简介。
2.学生能够理解每段的大意。
3.学生能够理解“met with problem” “made problem” “special presents”的意思。
4.学生知道一篇故事简介的基本结构。
能力:
1.学生能够通过快速阅读,抓取文章大意。
2.学生能够通过快速阅读,抓取每段大意。
3.学生能够根据对故事已有的理解,推测“met with problem” “made problem” “special presents”。
4.学生能够口头及书面进行简单的书籍介绍。
策略:
1. 用快速阅读的策略,抓取文章大意,及段落大意
2. 用已有图式,推测词义
3. 用知识迁移的方式,对故事或故事书作口头和书面的简介。
三.教学步骤:
Procedures Contents & Methods Purposes
Step1 Lead in 1. Show a picture of students. Talk about the picture and the play. 2. T :“What are you acting ” Ss: “I’m acting monkey king ” 利用学生曾经表演西游记的照片,跟学生谈论,引出《西游记》这本书,导入自然、贴近学生的生活,成果吸引学生的学习注意力。
Step 2 Pre-reading 1.Using pictures to explain the name of the book. 2.Have Ss talk about the book or story. 读前活动,让学生通过书名简单了解《西游记》的背景知识,然后让学生说说对西游记的了解,为下面阅读做准备,激活学生已有图式。
Step 3 While reading 1. Listen and read for the 1st time, scan the main idea. 2. Have Ss know, the passage is an introduction of a book or a story. 3.Read for the 2nd time, title every paragraph. 4. Read the passage carefully for the 3rd time, finish the 3 reading tasks. 阅读过程:1.让学生听、读第一遍,选择文章大意,培养学生快速阅读抓取大意的能力;2.学生再次阅读,为每段选择大意,一是让学生抓取每段大意,二是为下面写作体裁的结构做准备;3. 经过前面的泛读,让学生进一步精读,抓取关键信息,进一步理解文章,设置了填表、判断、回答问题三种层层递进的方式。在阅读中, Special present引导学生根据上下文进行理解;met with problem和made problems这两个混淆学生理解的短语用图片进行解释,这些阅读技巧的渗透让学生的阅读能力得到发展
Step3 Post- reading 1. Have Ss talk about the book “Robinson Crusoe” 2. Group work: discuss and write down the information of the book, finish the tasks of writing 在阅读后,让学生了解阅读文本的写作框架,让学生尝试进行《鲁滨逊漂流记》的介绍,这是学生共读过并开过读书分享的书本,学生熟悉并利于操作。写作任务也是循序渐进,首先让学生讨论,填表(故事基本四要素),然后讨论记录故事中的重要情节(选取个别),最后是结局。小组讨论的形式让学生思维碰撞,一起协作,降低难度,老师适时提供帮助,学生在课前也作了一些相应的生词准备。
Step4 Homework Group work: Write a brief introduction of “ Robinson Crusoe”. 通过对本课文本《西游记》介绍的学习,把文章的题材、语言的表达方面等知识迁移到《鲁滨逊漂流记》,让阅读促进写作,培养学生的写作能力和知识迁移的能力。
