Unit 4 Feeling Excited Vocabulary and target 教学设计
一、教学内容:
本课时教学内容是《开心学英语》第八册 Unit 4 Feeling Excited第二课时Vocabulary and Target。通过学习与情感、感受及其原因相关的词汇和句型表达个人感彩,并通过一系列的活动,帮助学生继续巩固和学习一般过去时的用法。 主要词汇有tired, scared, excited, sad, stayed up late, heard a noise, got a a kitten, got a poor grade. 主要句型有
I am (feelings).
She was (feelings).
They feel (feelings).
Why are you (feelings)
Because I (reasons).
Target: I’m tired. Why are you tired Because I stayed up late last night.
Why did you stay up late Because I watched a football game on TV.
二、学情分析:
知识层面,学生通过一个半学期的学习已初步掌握一般现在时和一般过去时的区别,在时间状语的提示下能灵活运用be动词和各种实义动词的过去式,简单掌握一般疑问句和特殊疑问句的过去式形式;并通过Unit 4第一课时初步掌握目标词汇中的excited, scared, because, heard a noise。情感层面,学生特别希望表达自己的情感,但无奈局限于happy、fine等词汇,所以课程设计以情感表达的拓展入手,提高学生的学习兴趣和表达水平。
三、教学目标:
1、知识与能力目标:
1)掌握目标词汇的音义形tired, scared, excited, sad, stayed up late, heard a noise, got a a kitten, got a poor grade
2)在模拟情景中运用I am (feelings). She was (feelings). They feel (feelings). Why are you (feelings) Because I (reasons). 等句式进行交际。
2、方法与过程目标:
1)通过情景教学、游戏教学、语音教学等帮助学生形成有效的学习策略。
2)在任务型学习方式培养学生自主学习、沟通交流学习的能力。
3、情感与文化意识目标:
1)通过学习,学会与人交流表达自己的感情并探讨个中原因。
2)树立“最美的脸是笑脸”的意识,了解快乐的人生观。 3)通过各种形式的教学活动激发学生学习英语的兴趣,提高学生的思维技巧、表达能力及对知识的综合运用能力;培养学生小组合作、团结协助的精神。
四、教学重点:
1)掌握目标词汇的音义形。
2)学会运用目标句型进行对话。
五、教学难点:
1)根据目标句型和真实情况创编对话。
2)能在真实情景中运用目标词汇及句型。
六、教学准备: 课前制作好课件和多媒体,希沃白板、希沃授课助手、班级优化大师。
教学过程
Procedure Activities Purpose
Lead in 1. Let’s Sing. (If You Are Happy) 2. Let’s Brainstorm: What “feelings” do you know How is he/she He/ She is .... 通过唱《If You Are Happy》引出情感话题。 看图片激活旧知(关于个人情感表达的词汇和句型),引起学生进一步学习情感话题的兴趣。
Presentation Gogo is scared. Why is Gogo scared Because Gogo heard a noise. 2. I am tired. Why are you tired Because I stayed up late. 3. I am excited. Why are you excited Because I got a kitten. 4. I am sad. Why are you sad Because I got a poor grade. 通过第一课时story的内容复习 scared, heard a noise,并由此引出目标句型I’m... Why... Because... 通过微信和三位班级成员聊天的页面设计引出三组目标词汇及目标句型。在词汇和句型的游戏化、任务型教学中渗透语音教学、情感教育
Practice. 1. Practice the words and phrases in general questions with the video. 2. Practice the words and phrases with emotions and actions. 通过一般疑问句操练目标词汇及目标句型。带感情带动作模仿朗读,更深刻地理解目标词汇及目标句型
Extension Let’s do a survey: 1. Discuss. 2. Fill in the Form. 3. Report The most beautiful face is the smiling face. The one who is happy is the most beautiful. 小组内运用目标句型Why...? Because...进行讨论,通过讨论、填写表格、完成短文、汇报进一步巩固目标词汇和句型。 情感教育:树立乐观、向上、开朗的人生观。
Homework 1. Do a survey on your families about their feelings yesterday. 2. Search more expressions about feelings and emotions. 检验和拓展所学内容。

教学反思
1. It is creative to show the target words and phrases with the design of Wechat communication with students to relate learning to daily life experience.
2. It is effective to apply technical tools in teaching, which arouses students’ interest and fully motivate them.
3. There is something wrong with the computer to show the pictures of students in Class Two Grade Six. Therefore, I used my last edition of my own class to move on the lesson wisely.
4. It is better to make sure that everyone can show themselves.
