Pre-task preparation Sing a song Listen and guess Have the students sing the song “Here it comes” of 2B. Play the recording of some noises I can hear on the street or on a farm. Have the students guess what they can hear. 快乐的歌曲和游戏引入主题,为课堂营造轻松的氛围。
While-task procedure Look and learn Show the flashcards for the words in “Look and learn” Ask the students to read and spell the words. Play the game “Quick response” with the students to help them remember the new words. Flash the cards for the new words and have the students respond quickly. Then hold the flash cards for one word but say another. Have the students identify the mistake and correct it. Repeat the same procedure with the other words. Play a guessing game. Invite individual students to pick one flashcard without letting the others see it. The other students can ask questions to guess what it is. Do Part A of the Workbook. Post-task activities Write a report Play a game Divide the students into groups of four. Ask the students to talk about what they can hear in a park or other places. Then ask them to write a report about it. Play the game “Noise walk” with the students. 培养学生合作学习的能力,让学生能学以致用。
