Pre-task preparation Listen and enjoy Have the students work in groups and say the rhyme in ’Listen and enjoy’ Then invite some groups to act it out in front of the class. Have the students listen to the recording of different sounds and noises. Ask them to say what sounds they like. 运用儿歌中的语境,调动学生学习语言的积极性,表达对周围声音的喜好。
While-task procedure Read a story Have the students read the story. Then give them the mixed-up paragraphs from the story and have them put them in the correct order. Have the students read the story by themselves. Ask them to underline the words they do not understand. Then ask the students some questions to check their understanding. Have the students read after the recording for ’Read a story’ sentence by sentence. Ask them to answer the questions Have the students role-play the story in groups. Walk around the classroom and help the students if necessary. 鼓励学生主动阅读文本,培养学生自主学习的能力。 鼓励学生自己发现问题,并积极主动参与解决问题。
Post-task activity Retell the story Exercises Write some key words from the story on the blackboard and have the students retell the story according the key words. Do Part H of the Workbook. 通过复述故事,提高学生的语言概括能力和表达能力。
