While-task procedure Listen and answer Learn the sounds Play the recording of noises made by cars, aeroplanes, drills, etc. Have the students listen to the noises and answer some questions. 1．Show the phonetic symbol cards for the sounds. Post-task activity Exercises Do Part F of the Workbook. Have the students do Task ’Sounds at school’ of the Workbook. First have the students do a survey and fill in the blanks. Then ask them to give a report according to the survey.
