教学目标
Teaching aims(教学目标):
After the study, the students are able to:
1. Understand the reading material clearly.
2. Say and write their own vacation plan.
3. Master the reading skills.
学情分析
五年级学生已经掌握了一定的阅读技巧,大部分学生的阅读速度比较快,能较快并准确地提取信息、理解阅读文本,但有些学生还不能准确理解文本、迅速提取信息。
重点难点
Teaching difficulties(教学重难点):
Master the reading skills.
Get information quickly and correctly.
Express themselves freely and properly, give output after learning.

【导入】联系生活,激趣导入
Pre-reading:
1.Sing a song: What are you going to do
(Students sing the song and do some actions)
(活跃气氛,复习旧知,导出话题。)
2.Free talk: May Day is coming. We will have a vacation.
Where are you going What are you going to do
(联系生活实际,讨论话题)
【讲授】阅读中
While reading:
1. Introduce my friends: Laura and Debbie.
Guess : What are they talking about
Listen and choose the topic. (整体把握对话内容及讨论的主题)
2 Read again and answer the questions.
Q1: Where is Laura going
(Introduce something about Australia.)(在教学中渗透文化,介绍澳大利亚的名建筑物、特色动物等。)
Q2: How is she going
Check together. Teach the reading skill. (教师示范,在讲解题目的同时教授阅读技巧)
