2.Identifying the pronunciation of the sounds in words.

Pre-task preparation Listen and enjoy Play a game Ask the students to say the rhyme in “Listen and enjoy’. Show some film posters to the students and ask them to make a new rhyme or a dialogue to the posters. Play the game “Whispers”. Have some students sit or stand in a line. Whisper a sentence to the first student. They must whisper it to the next person in the line, and so on. If the last student in the line says the same sentence as the first student, they win. 学生自编儿歌,激发学生的学习兴趣。 学生通过传话游戏,提高学生语言听说能力。
While-task procedure Look and say Learn the sounds 1.Put the wall picture on the blackboard. Tell the students that these four films are on the cinema.Ask the students to look at the table and talk about the films. 2.Have the students make a dialogue in pairs according to the table in “Ask and answer” 1.Show the phonetic symbol cards for the sounds. Read the words in “Learn the sounds” Ask the students to repeat after the tape until they can pronounce the sounds correctly. 2.Listen and circle. 通过学生间的小组活动,增强语言的实际运用能力。
Post-task activity Look and say 1.Divide the students into groups of four. Have the students talk about their favourite cinemas and favourite films. Have them take some notes while others are talking. Then invite some students to give a report in front of the class. 2.Do task “Let’s go to see a film” of the Workbook. 小组合作的方式活跃课堂气氛,同时培养学生之间相互交流的能力,同时让学生养成阅读课外书籍的生活习惯。
