教学目标
1、Students can understand and recognize the places: The Yangtze River; Mount Tai; Beijing University; Museum; USA; Australia; Canada; UK;
2、Students can ask and answer questions about others’ tour plan.
3、Students can make their own tour plans and share with others.
4、Students will be able to know some famous places in China and in foreign countries.
学情分析
本课的教学对象是五年级的学生,大部分学生思维活跃,富有创意,个性鲜明,敢于表达自己的思想。本主题对于他们来说,并不陌生。只要联系生活实际,学生能较好地感受地域文化,了解景点名称,并能制定自己的游学计划。
重点难点
Important points:
1、Students can read and recognize the places.
2、Students can make their own tour plans.
Difficult points:
Students can ask questions about others’ tour plans.
教学过程
【导入】Step1. Warming-up
1、Greetings
【To know each other and get closer to each other.】
2、Enjoy a song: traveling light(The photos are about the teacher’s tour)
【To lead in the topic: traveling.】
【讲授】Step 2. Presentation
1、Show the pictures of the places: The Yangtze River; Mount Tai; Beijing University; Museum; USA; Australia; Canada; UK;
The teacher Introduce the places and talk something about them.
【To have students know something about the famous places.】
2、Play a guessing game: The pictures will be shown part by part. Students have to say out the places as quickly as they can.
【To consolidate the name of the places and check students' memory.】
3、Listen to the dialogue: National Holiday is coming. Lisa is asking Amy about her vacation.
【To lead in the topic: have a study tour】
【练习】Step 3. Practice
1、To have students ask and answer questions about Amy’s tour plan. E.g. Where is Amy going for vacation
【To check students’ understanding and improve students’ ability of asking questions.】
2、To have students ask and answer in pairs.(The teacher make a model first)
