Teaching plan of Unit 5 Our Clothes (Friend with English Book 4)
一、 学情分析(Students analysis)
(一) 基本情况 本学期本人担任四年级英语教学,四(2)班有51人。通过将近一年多的英语学习,学生基本会读会拼写单词,大部分学生能够听懂Target和Story的对话,并且针对提问做出相应的回答。但由于各种因素的影响,学生的发展参差不齐。有少数学生因为基础不好,学习很吃力而导致有自暴自弃和开小差的现象。而大部分学生因为对英语有着浓厚的兴趣,掌握知识点相对比较好。总体而言,学生在课堂上还保持着比较高的热情。
(二) 教材分析
本册教材具有以下几个特点:
1.注重学生语言运用能力的培养,突出语言的实践性和交际性,同时也突出语言的真实性和实用性。
2.注重学生学习兴趣的培养,以不同方式最大限度地激发学生的学习动机。
3.注重融合学科内容,加强学科之间的整合和渗透,让学生通过英语学习来获得其他学科的知识。
4.注重教材的灵活性和可操作性,以满足不同层次的学生的需求。
5.注重教学资料的配套,为学生提高良好的英语学习环境,帮助学生拓展自我发展的空间。
(三) 教学目的
激发学生学习英语的兴趣,培养他们的学习英语的积极态度,是他们建立初步的学习英语的自信心;培养学生一定的语感和良好的语言、语调和书写基础,以及良好的学习习惯;使学生形成初步用英语进行简单日常交流的能力。同时,培养学生的观察、记忆、思维和创造能力,适当介绍中西方文化,为学生的进一步学习奠定良好的基础。 二、教学内容(Teaching contents)
1.Vocabulary: coat, dress, shirt, T-shirt, sweater, cap, shorts, shoes.
2.Sentence pattern : Is this …… Are these …… Whose …… is this/are these
三、教学目标(Teaching objectives)
Knowledge objectives:
1. Read and say the following words: coat, dress, shirt, T-shirt, sweater, cap, shorts, shoes.
2. Use expertly the expression of “Is this …… Are these …… Whose …… is this/are these ”
3. Capable of listening, speaking and reading the words.
4. Capable of listening and reading the expression of “Is this …… Are these …… Whose …… is this/are these ”
5. Affect:
(1) Develop teamwork spirit through group work and pair work.
(2) Build up Ss’ interest in English through performance and songs. Teaching keys:
1. Have Ss know how to name the clothes in this lesson.
2. Have Ss be able to express clothes with “This is ……/These are ……”.
3. Have Ss use the sentence pattern to communicate with their partners.
Teaching difficulties:
1. On top of the pronunciation of the words.
2. On top of using sentence pattern “Is this …… Are these …… Whose …… is this/are these ” Teaching aids: CAI
四、教学过程 (Teaching procedure)
Step1: Warming-up:
1. Greeting.
2. Read the title-Unit 5 Our Clothes.
3.Sing a song.
Step 2: Presentation
1.Review the words about clothes. Have Ss see the pictures and spell the words.
2. Use the pictures review the sentence pattern
“Is this ……
Are these ……
Whose …… is this/are these ”
a. Have Ss see the pictures and answer the questions:
What’s this It’s …… .
What are these They’re…… .
Whose …… is this / are these It’s …… ./ They’re …… .
b. T ask, Ss answer.
c. Group work: Put Ss in pairs to ask and answer the questions.
3.Do Practice.
P40 Practice 2 Ask and answer.
4.Game. T shows the pictures of the clothes, have Ss look carefully and answer the questions.
5.Do Practice
6. Game: have Ss look carefully and spell the words.
7. Do Practice
a. Write the sentences after the models.
b. Answer the questions.
Step 3: Summary:
Summarize what have learned in this class and review the words and sentence pattern.
