教学目标
(一):知识目标
1、能听懂、会读、会用:once, twice ,three times, a day, a week, a month, a year。
2、能听懂、会说:How often do you read books I read books three times a week.
(二):能力目标
1、在玩骰子与做调查等教学活动中培养学生语言实际运用能力;
2、在两人对话、骰子游戏、做调查等教学活动过程中培养学生交流、合作与互助的能力。
(三):情感、策略和文化等有关目标
1、通过本课时的学习,学生乐于用英语与朋友谈论自己喜欢的活动及其频率的情况;
2、学生通过思考与总结,明确日常生活中哪些活动有益于我们,哪些不太有益。
学情分析
本单元的教学对象是小学10-11岁的五年级学生,他们活泼开朗、乐于模仿,已经具有简单的日常会话能力,能听懂教师常用的课堂用语,能根据情景组织简单的对话交际,英语学习兴趣较浓厚,能主动地与同伴共同参与课堂学习活动与游戏。学习本单元之前,学生已经学过play basketball, surf the Internet, listen to music, play computer games…等有关活动的词组,学习过日期的表达,对day, month, year 有一定的概念;学过句型:What do you like doing I like singing.
重点难点
(一)教学重点:
1、学生能理解并运用所学词句表达自己喜欢做的活动及其频率;
2、学生能够运用所学词句询问对方喜欢做的活动及其频率。
(二)教学难点:
1、恰当运用once, twice, a day, a week, a month, a year来表述自己喜欢的活动及其频率;
2、描述朋友喜欢的活动及其频率时能够正确使用第三人称单数形式。
教学过程
【导入】Brain Storm
一、复习与热身:头脑风暴快速复习有关活动词组:play basketball, read some books, surf the Internet等等。
【讲授】呈现新词组
呈现新词组:以表格的方式分别呈现:four times a week, three times a week, twice a week, once a week等词组。
【活动】操练、巩固新词组
1、在学生复述教师一周活动的同时,教师依次将词组以思维导图的形式贴到黑板上并带读;
2、根据表格中内容教学生以chant的方式操练句子。
【讲授】呈现新句型
教师根据学生在chant 中陈述:I read books four times a week. 顺势与学生对话:“ Yes, I read books four times a week. How often do you read books ” 提问几位同学之后将句型板书在黑板上。
【活动】Chant 操练词句
教师以学生之前chant陈述句的方式,加上音乐操练新呈现的重点句型:How often do you read books I read books four times a week.
【讲授】拓展新词组
教师以chant的方式顺势看图提问:How often do you do eye exercise 教师在教了a week 的基础上引导学生说出:a day, a month, a year等词组。
【活动】Pairs Work(在语境中运用词句)
教师引导学生看图或按照实际情况用a day, aweek, a month, a year谈论自己喜欢的活动及其频率。
【活动】Guessing Game 游戏巩固词句
教师播放游戏示范视频,使学生明白游戏规则:一位同学掷骰子(骰子六面分别写有a day, a week, a month, a year);之后四人读出骰子朝上的一面;掷骰子的同学开始做动作表示自己喜欢的活动和频率次数;其余三位同学举手抢答,猜中的可以拿到一枚奖票,获奖票多的为胜者。轮流玩即可。
【活动】Do a survey(做调查,用所学语言做事情)
1、教师示范填写自己的活动频率表;
2、示范如何在班中调查自己好朋友喜欢的活动及其频率情况并填表;
3、示范如何写报告;播放小组作报告的视频,使学生明白该如何在小组中作报告。
【讲授】情感渗透(学生思考、总结)
教师在学生展示自己的调查结果之后,引导学生思考日常生活中的活动哪些有益于我们,哪些不太益于我们,并以图片分类的形式呈现并做总结:Do more activities good for you and keep yourself healthy.
【讲授】小结
教师带领学生朗读、回顾本节课的重点词句。
【讲授】布置作业
1.Try to know more names about activities. Write down 5 new names on the exercise book.
2.Continue to do the survey with your classmates or families after class.
3.Try to do the report without the paper.
