10. die v. “死,死亡”,非延续性动词,不能同表示一段时间的状语连用。
dead adj. “死亡的,无生命的”表示状态,可以同表示一段时间的状语连用(be dead)
death n. “死,死亡”
eg. 1) He has died. 他已经死了。
2) His grandma died 2 years ago.
= His grandma has been dead for 2 years/since two years ago.
3) His grandma’ death made them sad.
