教学难点:Understand the main differences between countable nouns and uncountable nouns.
课前准备:多媒体,黑板,粉笔
教学过程:
一、Pre-class
1. Greeting
2. Leading-in
教师活动:
1). Greet students as usual and check the homework.
2). Review the words and phrases we learned in the last period.
3). Explain some new words to students.
活动目的:通过一系列的课前活动,引起学生们的注意,把学生们的注意力吸引到课堂上来。为后面的教学奠定基础。
二、While-class
1、教师活动:
Teach Grammar Focus
1). Divide the students into two groups.
2). Ask one group of students to read the questions and the other group of students read the answers.
3). Ask students to read the words in the box and tell their differences and usage.
4). Explain some important grammar.
2、教师活动:
Teach activity 3a
(1) Ask students to read the five sentences first and underline the correct words in the brackets.
(2) Invite some students to tell their answers and give their reasons.
(3) Check the correct answers with the class.
3. 教师活动
(1) Ask students to read the conversation first and try to number the sentences [1-4] to make a conversation.
(2) Invite one student to tell his\her answers.
(3) Check the correct answers with the class.
Answers: 3, 2, 1, 4.
活动目的:通过一系列的教学活动,让学生们掌握本单元的语法知识,并能够灵活运用。
三、After-class
1). Ask students to work with their partners and ask and answer what they like and don't like.
2). Students make their own conversations and fill in the chart.
3). Ask some students to act out their conversations.
活动目的:巩固学生们在本堂课所学知识,检测学生们对知识的掌握程度。
四、Summary
In this period, we’ve mainly conclude the grammar in this unit. And we’ve also consolidated what we’ve learned through some practice.
作业布置:
1. Talk about your family’s favorite food, write a short passage.
2. Review the Grammar Focus.
