2.能正确朗读、运用动词短语buy a Christmas tree, go to see Father Christmas等描述圣诞节;
了解圣诞节的相关文化。
教学重点:
能运用动词短语描述圣诞节的相关活动。
教学难点:
能正确朗读动词短语并运用动词短语描述圣诞节的相关活动。
教学准备:
电子鼠标,小蜜蜂,板书,课件,学生练习单,短剧稿,道具(咔嚓板,圣诞树,礼物盒,小挂件,圣诞袜,圣诞帽,三个小礼品盒)
教学过程:
课前和学生的交流中发放圣诞树装饰品。
Step1 Warming-up
1. Free talk
通过和学生交流引出课题。
T: … Do you know the name of this music? What holiday is it about?
2. 教授单词
T: What do you know about Christmas?
在和学生的交流中学习单词Father Christmas, Santa Claus, present, Christmas tree, pretty things,turkey, Christmas pudding等词汇。
请学生上台装饰圣诞树。
将学生的已知罗列出来:date, food, symbols, activity
3. 课前小检测
T: What else do you know about Christmas?
学生读题并判断。
Step2 While-reading
1. T: Are people busy at Christmas? If they are busy, what do they do at Christmas?
学生自读课文,划出短语,小组内互相学习。
教师边请学生说边贴板书,部分词组在此处学习。
2. T: When do people do these things? Look, these phrases are in a mess. Can you help me to put them in right orders?
教师提前给出顺序副词First, next, then, finally.
学生边听边把活动短语按顺序摆放,教师请一位学生到黑板前摆放。
摆放后两人组核对一下答案。
再逐段出示,教师批阅黑板上的排列情况,并引出时间短语before Christmas, on Christmas Eve, on Christmas Day。
