Location: In the Umaria district of Madhya Pradesh state. The nearest village is Tala, which is the access to the park.
Opening Hours and Safari(游猎) Times
Safaris operate twice a day, starting at dawn until late morning, and mid-afternoon until sunset. The best time to visit the park is early in the morning or after 4 p. m. to spot the animals. The park is closed from July 1 to September 30 because of the monsoon season (季风季节).

E. O. Wilson, “the Darwin of the 21st century”, is considered the world’s leading expert on ants and a pioneer of the theory of biodiversity.
Wilson was born in Birmingham, Alabama, in 1929. When he was young, he was crazy about the natural world and spent his childhood exploring woods and observing insects. When he was in high school, he narrowed his focus down to the study of insects. After earning his master’s degree in biology in the University of Alabama, he went to Harvard University to work for a PhD in 1951. After graduation, he remained there for his career as a teacher.
Wilson authored many books and was awarded quite a few prizes, such as the Crafoord Prize and the Pulitzer Prize for General Nonfiction. Wilson has a strong gift for storytelling and narrative. His books are easy to understand and can attract readers, even those who don’t care much for scientific topics. In his writings, Wilson further enlarged his study from biology to other subjects, such as sociobiology, geography and even art.
The friendship between the scientist Finch and Wilson is also worth mentioning. “On his 88th birthday he wanted to collect ants in the delta so we wandered through an Alabama woodland,” Finch recalled, “We also went to other areas like two boys getting into the woods.” After retiring from teaching in 1996, Wilson founded the E. O. There was a time when a trip to the supermarket in the United States often ended with a seemingly simple question from the cashier, "Paper or plastic " Well, which type of bag would you choose
While both types of bags have some influence on the environment, it has long been supposed that paper bags are better. They are made from a renewable source, are broken down easily, burn without giving off thick smoke and can be recycled. However, the producing process behind paper bags uses more energy than that of plastic ones. How can this be true
Studies show that paper bag production requires four times as much energy as plastic bag production. And the amount of water used to make them is twenty times larger. Besides, the influence on forests is very serious. It takes about fourteen million trees to produce ten billion paper bags, which happen to be the number of bags used in the United States yearly. In terms of recycling, the idea that paper bags are more environment-friendly than plastic ones can be quickly discarded. Research shows it requires about 98% less energy to recycle plastic than it does to recycle paper.
Even though paper bags might be more harmful than plastic ones, plastic still seems to be considered as the more harmful of the two by governments. In Ireland, for example, a tax has been introduced to discourage the use of plastic bags. People have to pay 22 cents for every plastic bag, and as a result, their use has dropped quickly.
There's no doubt that it makes more sense to reuse these bags. However, we don't seem to be doing that at present. That may be because they fall apart quickly. If so, cloth bags are a better choice, but still, their production also has a bad influence on the environment. So what to do How should we answer the question of "Paper or plastic " It seems that we first need to ask ourselves one more general question: "What can I do to help the environment "
12.The question at the end of Paragraph 1 is used to _____.
A. introduce the point for discussion B. tell readers how to save money
C. express the author's doubts D. show the kindness of the cashier
pared with plastic bags, paper bags _____.
A. take more time to break down B. require less energy to recycle
C. need more water to produce D. have less influence on forests
14.What does the underlined word "discarded" in Paragraph 3 probably mean
A. Share. B. Put forward. C. Discuss. D. Give up.
15.Which question does the author probably hope the cashier ask
A. Paper or cloth B. A new bag or your own one
C. A small bag or big one D. Paper or plastic

How to Beat the Procrastination Habit
I am a procrastinator (拖延症患者). I always have been. I've tried all sorts of things to beat the habit. Here are some techniques I've been using.
Set aside blocks of time to do things.
When I was talking with my wellness(健康) coach earlier this year, she asked me why I didn't exercise more often. "①________" I said. "Something always comes up." She wasn't impressed. "J.D.," she said, "you have to make time. Make an appointment with yourself to run or to go for a bike ride." The same principle applies to other things you might procrastinate.
②________.
Often I'll be sitting on the back porch reading a book, and it will occur to me that some chores need to be done, mending the fence, for example. "③________," I tell myself. Wrong! What usually happens is that I forget to write it down, and even if I do, I just look at the list and procrastinate for weeks on end. The best move is to actually do the chore when I think of it. (Assuming, of course, that I have the time at that moment, which I usually do.)
Use a timer to bring you back to reality.
Part of the reason why I procrastinate is that I'm a daydreamer. ④________. One way to keep on track is to use a timer. I use the Ultrak Jumbo Countdown Timer, but not as often as I should. I set it for 48 minutes. When it goes off, ⑤________: Am I doing what I'm supposed to be doing
Do not multitask.
I often start many things at once, but I never actually do any of them. In order for me to get something done, I need to focus my attention on it.
Trying to do several things at once is a sure way to be sure they'll all be unfinished tomorrow.
A. I'm always lost in thought
B. it brings me back to reality
C. If it comes to mind, then do it
D. I don't have the time
E. it serves as an instant reality check

Excited screams of joy, the sounds of two happy little girls playing on the sand, ran across the beach. But I walked along, barely aware of them. I'd come to this remote beach on my sailboat, a place to escape. My wife and I had recently separated, our marriage in trouble. I worried about my two boys, just six and eight. It seemed like forever since Td heard them laugh. But I didn't know what to do to make things better.
"Help! Help!" The girls shouted out. I'd meant to tell them to stay away from the dangerous water. Now one of them was in the ocean, beyond the surf line. I could just hear her screams over the waves. Any second now she'd be swept away. I ran across the sand as fast as I could. The other girl was at the edge of the surf, yelling.
"Wait! Stop! Don't go any farther!" I charged(向……方向冲去) into the waves and was reaching for her when a wall of water dashed over us. For half a second I saw her disappear under another big wave. Tm a strong swimmer, but I could feel the wave pulling me hard. I swam to her and seized her, her little body shaking. But where was the other girl I saw a waving arm. A head broke the surface, not far away. The arms of the girl I'd rescued were wrapped desperately around my neck. She was breathing in sobs. "Let go of my neck. I need you on my back. Hold my shoulders so I can swim to your friend."
She loosed her hands and I shifted her to my back. ''She's my sister, Sarah, and I am Lillian,'' she said. For a moment I thought of my boys. How much they loved each other. How much I loved them.
I looked across the water and saw a small head after a big wave. I quickened my swimming, fighting for each breath. Tiny arms pressed against my shoulders. I reached out and held the second little girl. She was in total tiredness, taking deep breaths and crying quietly.
