教材分析 假期旅行不仅是中学生感兴趣的话题之一,也是非常有意义的一个话题。旅行可以使人们开阔视野,增长见识,认识大自然,了解不同的风俗习惯。本单元以旅行为话题,试图在学生面前打开一扇窗户,让他们领略不同的文化与历史、人文与生活。 围绕这一话题,本单元的对话以托尼到洛杉矶旅行为题材,展示了谈论旅行时常用的语言,又介绍了这座代表西方文化的重要城市。本单元中介绍的洛杉矶位于美国西岸加州南部,是美国一个大城市,也是全世界的文化、科学、技术、国际贸易和高等教育中心之一,还拥有各种专业与文化领域的世界知名机构。该市及紧邻的区域在大众娱乐——诸如电影、电视、音乐方面,构成了洛杉矶的国际声誉和全球地位的基础,闻名世界的好莱坞就位于该市。考虑到学生可能对洛杉矶这个城市比较陌生,本单元的对话从迪斯尼和好莱坞等学生相对熟悉一些的地点入手介绍这个城市,借此激发学生的兴趣,让他们乐意了解更多关于洛杉矶、加州和美国的信息经济、文化中心, 学生通过第一单元的学习,对一般过去式的特殊疑问句这个新句型有了一定的理解,所以,本课时着力训练学生对语言的实际运用,并适时引入了不规则动词的一般过去时。教师使学生通过本课时的学习,引导学生掌握用一般过去时特殊疑问句句型来表达旅行经历。

教学反思与改进 在课程结束以后,发现本节课还存在以下问题。首先,对于单词和重点词汇的教学上,方式还是过于单一,不能很好的做到语境中讲解单词,因而学生对于词汇的掌握度不是很好。此外本堂课是一节听说课,虽然采用了不同的听读策略,让学生理解文章,但是对于听读策略在实际会话的理解中,学生的参与度不高。最后,对于教学环节的衔接流畅性不好。因此,在以后的教学中,要不断更新教学观念,多学习,让自己不断提高专业素养。在教学上,注重对学生记忆方法以及学习策略的培养。
