Step I Warm-up
1、Greetings.play it.
T: Good morning, class.
Ss: Good morning, teacher. How are you
T: Fine, thanks.And you
Ss:I'm OK.
Revision.
(1) Check the homework.
(2)Ask students to read the conversation in 2e together.Then invite two pairs to role-play it.Check the progress and correct ponunciation mistakes if any.
Step II Presentation
1.Grammar Focus.
Ask students to read the sentences in the box in pairs.
Then make conversations using the target language to talk about the things in the classroom.
Sample conversation:
S1:How much is this map
S2:It's five yuan.
S1:How much are these books
S2:They're 200 yuan.
Leave students five minutes to do it.
As they work,move around the room,checking progress and offering help as needed.
2.Activity 2a.
T:First,you need to read through the words in the three boxs.
Then have a look at the sentences in the chart so that you can know how to do this activity.
Make sentences using these given words.Do it individually,and later I'll collect your answers.
Leave students enough time to do this task.Ask them to pay attention to the single form and plural form of those nouns.
Finally,check the answers,and correct mistakes if any.
Step III Practice
Activity 3b.
T:first,have a look at the pictures.What can you see in these pictures
Ss:We can see some clothing with the tags of price.
T:Right.Now,we'll talk about the prices of them.First,how much is the hat Who will volunteer to answer this question
S1:It's five dollars.
T:You are right.Well,second.How much is the bag
S2:It's ten dollars.
T:Great.And how much is the T-shirt
S3:It's 6 dollars.
T:Yes,it's cheap.And which things are three dollars
S4:The socks are three dollars.
T:Right.The answer has been given.Who can complete the question
S5:Me.We can use the sentence"How much are these socks "to ask the prices of them.
T:Excellent.Now,finish the other two questions individually.Later,I'll check your answers.
Ask students to practice asking and answering the questions in pairs.
Step IV Consolidation
Activity 3c.
Ask students to read though the instruction of 3c so that they can know how to do this activity.
Then put students into pairs to do this task.
Sudent A looks at the pictures and tries to memorize the prices.Student B asks the prices .If Student A answers right,
Student B goe on asking. If Student A fails answering the prices, they may change the roles.
Leave students enough time to do this activity .
Step V Summary
In this period,we've further learnt how to talk about prices through some writing and speaking practice. And we've
also practiced our memory through a memory game.
Step VI Homework
1.Finish the exercises in the workbook.
2.Preview the next period.

这堂课学生是在合作,表演,竞赛中度过的。学生们能愉快的学习英语,积极参加,主动交流。课后,许多学生都表示他们真正在玩中学到了英语,
享受到了说英语的乐趣。教学是一门遗憾的艺术,本节课也有不足之处。在做小组练习时,由于时间关系有的小组没有演成就下课了。在发言时,
部分学生的情绪比较紧张,影响了课堂氛围。语言环境的创建也需要教师在课外做更多的思考和准备。在今后的教学中,还要力求在课堂教学上采取
多样化的教学形式,使学生在交流中习得语言,运用听,说,读,写,演等形式,教会学生与人交流,合作。
