Grammar
(1)指示代词this, that作主语时, be动词用单数形式, 且后面名词用单数形式。
e.g. 这是一本书。
那是我的爷爷。
This is a book.
That's my grandfather.
★ 注意
that is = that's
但是 this is 没有缩写形式
(2)回答主语是this或that的一般疑问句或特殊疑问句时, 答语中用 it 代替句中的 this 或 that 。
回答主语是these或those的问句时, 答语中用they 代替句中的 these 或 those 。
e.g. —What are these
— are flowers.

指示代词的句型转换
1. 一个句子中,如果主语是“this/that/these/those+名词”,则该句子常可变换成指示代词作主语的句子。
This is Sally’s picture. 这是萨莉的照片。
Those dogs are my cousin’s. 那些狗是我堂哥的。
Those are my cousin’s dogs. 那些是我堂哥的狗。
This picture is Sally’s. 这张照片是萨莉的。
2. 单数句变复数句:
① this变these,that变those;
② be动词is变成are;
③ 可数名词单数变为复数;
④ 不定冠词a/an要去掉。
These are cats.
Those are erasers.
This is a cat.
That is an eraser.
可数名词单数变复数规则
(1)一般情况下在名词后面加-s。
pencil→pencils sister→sisters
(2)以辅音字母加y结尾的名词,先将y改为i,再加-es。
family→families
(3)以s, x, ch, sh结尾的名词,其后加-es。
watch→watches box→boxes(盒子)
(4)以f或fe结尾的名词,先将f或fe改为v,再加-es。
knife→knives(小刀) leaf→leaves(树叶)
(5)以o结尾的名词,有的加-es,有的直接加-s。
tomato→tomatoes(西红柿) hero→heros(英雄)
photo→photos(照片)
(6)特殊情况。
man→men(男人) child→children(儿童)

人称代词
Grammar
人称代词可以指人,也可以指物。有人称、数和格的变化。在句中作主语时要用主格人称代词, 且谓语动词的数要与其保持一致, 作宾语时要用人称代词的宾格。

特殊疑问词who的用法
1) who是疑问代词,意为“谁”,常用在句首引导特殊疑问句,对人进行提问。
2) 特殊疑问句都是由“Who+be动词+主语 ”构成的。
3) 主语是单数时,be动词用is;主语是复数时,be动词用are。
—Who is that boy 那个男孩是谁?
—Who are the two girls 那两个女孩是谁?
