drop by + sp. 表示“顺便/偶然拜访某地”, 相当于come over to和drop in。
drop in at sp. 意为“顺便拜访某地”,
drop in on sb. 意为“顺便拜访某人”。
e.g. Now and then they dropped in at the house to chat with the workers.

3. If you’re even 15 minutes late, your friend may get mad.
get mad 意为“气愤,大动肝火”
get mad at/with sb. 表示“生某人的气”,相当于get angry with sb.
mad作形容词,意为“很生气;疯的”。
drive sb. mad“使某人发狂”。
Sometimes it’s enough to drive you mad if you are stuck in a traffic jam during the rush hour.
