Analysis of the Teaching Material 本节课是一节写作复习课。3a-3c是写作板块,包括三个活动,内容环环相扣,要求层层递进。3a让学生根据表格信意全范文,3b让学生运用表格整理信息,3c让学生仿照范文,利用所整理的信息写一篇有关自己生活习惯的范文。活动4提了一份简单的健康问卷,学生可以通过完成问卷,了解自己的健康状况。该活动让学生意识到语言学习可以服务自身,让他了解自己,以便更加健康地生活,还可以提示学生养成良好的生活习惯,突出了情感目标。Self Check的三个练习帮助学生了解自己对本单元语言目标的达成情况。
Analysis of the Students 本单元已经基本结束,过本单元前面内容的学习,学生对运用频度副词和一般现在时相应句子结构谈论课外活动的话题有了一定的了解和掌握,并且能够初步运用。写作任务对大部分学生来说难度不是很大,应该能顺利完成。但部分学生在内容要点、文体格式以及语言的规范性方面可能会存在一定困难,需要进行针对性的指导。
Analysis of Teaching Objectives Language ability 学生能够掌握课标要求的“四会”词汇能综合运用所学重难点词汇和所学技巧完成写作。
Learningability 学生能够通过大量练习,熟练运用频度副词。进一步巩固一般现在时态的用法。 能掌握“总--分--总”的写作格式,写出描述自己的好习惯和坏习惯的短文, 并根据内容进行文章润色。
Thinking quality 能运用英语思维判断生活习惯和日常活动的好坏。明确要想健康,最重要的方式就是运动。
Cultural awareness 让学生养成良好的生活习惯,促进身心健康,享受丰富多彩的校园生活。通过健康测试,知道自己的饮食习惯存在哪些问题,以利于改进。树立健康的生活理念和运动方式。
Teaching Points 重点:能运用相关资料对他人的好习惯与坏习惯进行调查。难点:能运用所给的提示词完成关于人物生活习惯的写作。。
Teaching Procedures Teacher’s Activities Students’ Activities Intention
Step 1Lead-in 1. T shows some pictures to review daily activities, leads Ss to discuss.2.T leads to play games :”Do you think you are healthy ” 通过图片复习上节课内容。参与游戏,看自己是否有健康的生活方式. 采用图片复习和游戏导入,加强学生口语表达能力,激发学生课堂积极性。便于下一步展开本课时主题---日常习惯。
Step2Pre-writing Work on 3a1.Tell students to look at the information in the chart and summarize the percentage for each activity.Then have students match the percentages with words.2.Have students read the report and try to fill in the blanks with the words summarized just now.Then check the answers in class.Work on 3b1.Let students complete the chart in 3b with their own information.In the last column,use expressions like “always” “every day” “twice a week” and “never”.2.Select some students to share their results in class. 复习频度副词用法,完成3a.完成课本3b. 通过学习Jane的生活习惯,进一步判别好习惯和坏习惯,完成3a,掌握频度副词用法。以学生熟悉的日常习惯导入话题,并以小组讨论的形式让学生讨论自己的生活习惯,为接下来的写作准备素材。
Step 3While- writing 1.T leads Ss to discuss 3c.then summarize the framework and content about a diary.(Beginning: Introduce oneself; Body: good habits and bad habits;Ending: feelings and make a decision to improve).2.T shows the draft of Tom,leads Ss to think about: Can we make it better 3.T teaches the different expression of the beginning,and gives the first tip of writing.4.By comparing the two articles(Tom’s habits and Jane’s habits), T points the method to enrich the body, then gives the second tip of writing .5.T leads Ss to write the end of the article and gives the third tip of writing .then Lists the proverbs about habits. 6.T leads Ss to finish 3c and shows another possible version. 查看3c写作要求。跟着老师分析3a的结构框架。学生先看草稿,思考怎么样写好一篇好文章。学习几种不同的文章开头,写好Beginning.学生对比Tom和Jane 两篇文章,丰富Body内容.对文章进行结尾点睛总结,呼应主题。 完成3c. 通过写作过程的分析,帮助学生梳理写作要点(Beginning开头点题,Body中间展开丰富的描述,Ending结尾点睛),加强学生书面表达能力。注重词汇选用,时态运用,频度副词的准确使用及单词拼写等。
Step 4Post- writing Work on 41.Read the questions and the answers.Let students mark a,b or c for each question.2.Have students score themselves.3.Divide the students into several groups and let them discuss whether they agree with the individual scoring for each answer and the overall interpretation of the total scores. 小组活动完成调查测试。 小组活动可以调动学生的积极性,通过让学生相互交流,练习口语表达,加深对彼此的了解。
Step 5Self Check Work on 1 and 21.Let students talk about the activities they do and don't do or their parents do and don't do and make a chart.2.Let some students read their charts aloud.Then ask the students to try to write five sentences using the information above.3.Make sure they use the correct form of the verbs.Work on 31.Tell students that they should read the conversation and then fill in the blanks with the right form of the words.2.Students read the conversation and try to fill in the blanks.3.Check the answers:usually;How often;Hardly;How often;every;always.4.Let students practice the conversation with their partner. 完成Self Check。 让学生学会自己总结本单元所学知识,达到复习的效果。
Step 6Summary Summarize the key content in this lesson. 跟随老师一起进行内容总结。 总结本课所学内容, 利用将思维导图给学生进行有序的梳理。

Teaching Reflection: 听、说、读、写四种能力是初中英语教学的重点和难点,而写作能力的培养是重点中的难点。在本课教学中,实抓学生的写作大体技术。主要包括能正确判断体裁,准确使用时态,正确运用语法知识点,拼写无误,能在文章中表达自己的观点和态度等。本学期开始,多跟着老师进行模仿性练习,放宽要求,降低难度,以保证学生有一定的兴趣。在以后的教学工作推进中,循序渐进的提高学生的写作能力。
