Analysis of the Teaching Material 本节课是一节听说课。首先1a通过图文呈现Tara&Tina,Tom&Sam,Peter&Paul三对双胞胎的对比情况，一语境中，引人相关短语以及目标语言。1b-1c围绕以上几对双胞胎展开对话描述人物之间的不同。 2a-2b围绕Tina &Tara进行对比展开对话。2c就双胞胎兄弟Sam&Tom进行对比，描述相同点与不同。2d Julie和Anna对话就歌咏比赛展开讨论，对单元重点语言结构的总结和训练。因为这是本单元第一课时，对其基础地位和铺垫作用应予以高度重视，课堂任务应该追求语言学习的实践和应用能力的提升。
Analysis of the Students 经过近一年的任务型语言教学的训练，部分学生已经初步养成较好的英语学习习惯，能够在课堂上听懂老师的英文指令，并且能够根据老师的要求用目标语言完成各项任务。多人小组或二人小组成员有良好的合作意识，能够迅速有效地开展各项活动。
谈人物的特点这一话题学生熟悉且喜欢，七年级已经学过一些描述人、物的形容词，学生也已经积累了一定的词汇量，可以用英语进行简单的交流和描述，为本单元即将学习到的一谈论人的个性特征和形容词和副词的比较级作好了准备和铺垫。比较级对学生来说是第一次出现的新语言知识，学生需要描述和对比人和物，学生在记忆这些新单词时可能会有一定的难度。因此通过各种方式对新句型与新单词进行反复大量的操练显得尤为重要。
Analysis of Teaching Objectives Language ability 1.能运用形容词outgoing, better, loudly, quietly, hard-working, competition, fantastic, which, clearly, win 及其比较级句型Tina is taller than Tara. Sam has longer hair than Tom. She also sings more loudly than Tara. 来描述和比较不同的人物。
Learningability 1. 能用形容词和副词的比较级事物，能听懂形容词和副词的比较级并写出相关的句子，掌握比较级的构成和基本句型。2.能运用比较级对人的外貌及性格特征进行对话交流。

Game Time. 观看几组差别较大的双胞胎图片，思考，表述方式。观察课本17页的图片，猜测图片内容，回答问题。学习新词。学生通过游戏方式，更快更好的掌握新词。 利用图片，引入本课主题—人与人的差异性，引导学生谈论，在讨论的过程中，激发学生学习兴趣，活跃课堂气氛。通过对课本内容预测及回答问题，为下一步听力做准备。通过游戏巩固新词，趣味性帮助学生记忆所学内容。
Step 2Pre-listening T leads Ss to look at some picture in 1a .T leads to Match each word with its opposite ,finish 1a . 学生通过图片，感知形容词意思，为下一步匹配活动做准备。学生完成书本1a习题。 通过图片展现，便于学生更好的理解词的意义。
