考点一 That’s my family. Those are my parents.那是我的家庭。那些是我的父母。（Unit 2 P7）
【用法归纳】辨析family, home与house ◆family着重指“家庭，家庭成员或家中人口”，是一个集体名词。当把家庭看作一个整体,在句中作主语时，谓语动词为单数；当指家庭的每一个成员时，谓语动词用复数。如： Almost every family in the village owns a television. 几乎村里每家都拥有一台电视。(指家庭)
My family are all excited about the news that I am admitted to the key school. 我的家人对我被重点学校录取的消息感到非常兴奋。(指家人) ◆ home的意思是“家、家乡”，主要指一个人出生或居住的地方，含有感彩，强调家里的氛围和环境。如：
The nurse visited patients in their homes. 护士对病人进行了家访。
She was born in London, but she now regards Paris as her home. 她出生在伦敦,但现在她把巴黎看成她的家乡。 ◆ house意为“房屋，住宅”，主要指居住的房屋。如：
New houses are going up everywhere. 到处都在兴建新的住宅。
He stayed at his friend’s house. 他暂时住在朋友家里。考点二 Thank you for your help, Anna. 感谢你的帮助, 安娜。(Unit 3 P14)
【用法归纳】(1) Thank you for... 句型
◆Thank you for =Thanks for，后接名词或动名词，意为“因……而感谢”。如：
Thanks for helping me when I’m in trouble. 感谢你在我遇到麻烦时帮助我。
回答该句式有：Not at all./ You are welcome./ That’s all right./ My pleasure./ It’s a pleasure.
注意: Thanks to+名词，意为“多亏”。如：
Thanks to your help, I succeeded in getting a better job. 多亏了你的帮助，我成功地找到了一个更好的工作。(2)help的用法
◆help (v.) →helpful (adj.)有帮助的，有益的→helpfully (adv.)有益地，有用地
◆help用作动词,常见用法有： 如：Welcome to my home, and help yourselves to the fruit. 欢迎来我家，请随意吃水果。
I couldn’t help smiling when I heard her singing.当我听到她唱歌时，我情不自禁地笑了。
I always help my mother do chores on weekends.周末我总是帮妈妈做家务。
Mary often helps me with my English. 玛丽经常帮助我学习英语。
◆help用作名词，常用句式with one’s help或with the help of sb. 表示“在某人的帮助下”。如：
With the help of the teacher, I made a great progress. 在老师的帮助下，我取得了很大的进步。考点三 What about the dictionary? 这个字典怎么样？(Unit 3 P14)
【用法归纳】What about…？句型
◆向对方提出建议或请求，相当于句型Would you like...? 语气很委婉。如：
What about eating an apple? ＝Would you like to eat an apple? 吃个苹果好吗？
What about playing tennis? =Would you like to play tennis? 打网球怎么样？
◆询问天气或身体等状况。如：
What about the weather in the city you live? 你们居住的那个城市的天气情况如何？
What about your mother? You can’t keep her too tired. 你母亲身体好吗？你不能让她太累。 拓展：表示征求对方的看法或意见的句型还有如下几种：现学现用
