教学对象分析
经过四年多的英语学习,学生们基本上适应了轻松愉快的英语学习节奏,绝大多数同学培养了良好的听说习惯,喜欢直观形象思维,对游戏、竞赛、表演等活动特别感兴趣。学生具备一定的听说能力,能用英语进行简单的打招呼,可以用英语描述相关的物品。但是,他们的注意力往往不易集中。因此,在设计课堂教学活动时一定要根据学生的情况,采用灵活多样的教学方法来吸引学生的注意,努力营造玩中学、学中玩的教学情境。课堂上尽量以鼓励表扬为主,鼓励学生开口说英语,让他们尝试成功的喜悦。
就本单元内容而言,学生运用一般现在时的肯定句句型,结合First,… Next,… Then,… Finally,…来描述人们是如何来过圣诞节的。(圣诞节是学生熟悉的西方节日,在学生熟练地使用这几个表示顺序的词描述课文之后,我们还可以导入一些其他的节日,让学生对词语和句型进行巩固。)
教学目标
本单元的单元主题是At Christmas。以圣诞节为话题,用一般现在时的肯定句句型,结合First,… Next,… Then,… Finally,…来描述人们是如何来过圣诞节的。通过学习,让学生来了解西方国家是如何过圣诞节的。

第二 课时 复习Story time 出现的三会、四会单词和词组。学会Fun time的单词,词组:card, fold, message, Merry Christmas 结合本课内容,能运用First…,Next… Then… Finally… 来描述我们学校是如何过圣诞节的 进一步操练和运用本单元核心词汇。 尝试用first, next, then, finally 来描述我们学校是如何过圣诞节的。 3.学会如何制作圣诞卡片。
第三 课时 掌握字母p发音,知道与字母b发音区别 能听懂、会说、会读What’s wrong with…,song, him,us 核心词汇。 较为熟练的操练与运用本单元的句型。 能熟练地运用本单元核心词汇。 能熟练运用核心词汇和句型来描述Sam他们是如何过圣诞节的。 学会歌曲《We wish you a Merry Christmas》。
第四课时 了解并掌握字母j的发音 能听懂、会说、会读letter核心词汇。 熟练的操练与运用本单元的句型。 1.能熟练地运用本单元核心词汇。 2.能熟练运用核心词汇和句型来描述我们班是如何过圣诞节的。 3.通过Checkout的小练笔来写写自己是如何过圣诞节的。
