Analysis of the Teaching Material 本课是一节写作及总结复习课,3a-3c是写作板块,包括三个活动,是综合性的写作训练板块,内容环环相扣,要求层层递进。对学生的语言运用提出了更高的要求。3a属于控制性写作练习,用含有比较级,both,as...as结构的句子描述这对好友的特征。3b让学生运用表格整理信息,写出和朋友的异同。3c让学生写出两段描述自已和好友的文字。活动4提了一份工作招聘广告,学生可以通过对比讨论,让学生找到谁更适合这份工作。Self Check的三个练习帮助学生了解自己对本单元语言目标的达成情况。
Analysis of the Students 通过前面四课时的学习,本单元已经基本结束,学生已经掌握了如何描述人物,用适当的形容词描述人物之间的对比,并对理想的朋友有了一定的标准。写作任务对大部分学生来说难度不是很大,应该能顺利写出令自己满意的文章。但部分学生在内容要点、文体格式以及语言的规范性方面可能会存在一定困难,需要进行针对性的指导。
Analysis of Teaching Objectives Language ability 学生能掌握下列词汇:primary, primary school, information。
Learningability 通过复习如何对两者进行比较。学生能够综合运用所学的知识来对两个事物或人物进行对比,总结回顾形容词或副词的比较级形式,并通过不同形式的训练来熟练掌握所学的知识。
Thinking quality 培养学生的阅读理解能力和写作能力。
Cultural awareness 学生能了解人与人之间的差异性,能做到相互理解相互学习,能正确看待自己和他人的优缺点,学人之长,补己之短。
Teaching Points 1.能综合运用所学重难点词汇和所学技巧写好人物对比。2.熟练掌握比较词汇和句型。

Step 1Lead-in T plays a video,then shows some pictures and review the comparatives form. 观看视频,。通过视频和图片回顾比较级知识。 利用视频和图片,趣味性回顾比较级的知识。
Step2Pre-writing 1.T shows some pictures to Ss to discuss: How do you describe your good friend 2.T leads to review description words, including Appearance, Character and Hobbies.3.T leads to review sentence patterns, such as “A + be similar to +B” , ” A + be different from +B”.4. Ss talk about Wang Lingling and Liu Lili, look at the chart and try to compare them in 3a5.T leads Ss to write down the results in 3a, then think about how to make it better 6.T leads to list the Mind Map (Beginning(Introduction),Body (Similarities and Differences),Ending(summary)).And then analysis the structure.7.T leads students to finish 3a 在老师引导下,回顾关于外貌,性格和爱好的描述性词汇和比较级句型。学生读3a,尝试写出3a句子,并改进它。跟着老师概括思维导图(开端介绍,中间描述相似和不同之处,结尾总结)。搭建文章的框架和结构。 通过词汇和句型回顾,为下一步书写奠定基础。 从 “外貌”、“性格”和“爱好”三个维度展开人物对比,层次清晰。确定文章的“Beginning”、“Body”和“Ending”。结构一目了然。

Step 4Post- writing T leads Ss to summarize. T write the names of two outgoing students on the board. Say,Who do you think should get the job,A or B then ask Ss to work in pairs. Teaching Reflection: 听、说、读、写四种能力是初中英语教学的重点和难点,而写作能力的培养是重点中的难点。在本课教学中,实抓学生的写作大体技术。主要包括能正确判断体裁,准确使用时态,正确运用语法知识点,拼写无误,能在文章中表达自己的观点和态度等。本学期开始,多跟着老师进行模仿性练习,放宽要求,降低难度,以保证学生有一定的兴趣。在以后的教学工作推进中,循序渐进的提高学生的写作能力。
