My__understanding__of__“The__Road__Not__Taken”
“The Road Not Taken” is a famous poem written by Robert Frost, an established American poet, who lived from 1874 to 1963. Robert Frost wrote many great poems and won the Pulitzer Prize four times.
Consisting of four parts, each with five lines, “The Road Not Taken” adopts different rhymes to enhance special effects. By describing the images of two roads that diverge in the wood, the author indicates that people are often faced with different choices in their lives and a different decision really makes a difference.
